Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review – November 2016
There are few things that I remember loving when I was a child as much as I loved animals. I always thought it would be great to be a vet! As I have gotten older it became clear to me that I would be in a position that I would become attached to the animals that I was saving, and that would be the best quality for a vet. Despite my early career aspirations not coming to fruition I knew that the quality that made Vet Medicine not a correct choice, would make me a great Guardian.
Each day I strive to be the best Guardian and “sister” to all pets in my life, and I am attached to Meadow as if she was my own. I want the best for her, and I love spending time with her.
When I saw this months Pet Treater and the theme “Eat, Sleep and Be Thankful“, it reminded me of how thankful I was that I have a dog like Meadow I can spend time with and have special moments with, despite her living in a separate home.
The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Pet Treater/Jammin Butter. This post may contain affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.
Each month I am blown away by the quality and contents of the Pet Treater Box and again is even better than the month before. Meadow is now leveled out on growth and is settling nicely in to medium size dog so I am reviewing the medium dog box. The November box was a thoughtfully curated and themed box that maintained the theme of “Eat, Sleep and Be Thankful”.
Here is a breakdown of the items that were in my/Meadow’s November Pet Treater box:
Dingo Market Cuts Treats: This is not the first time that we have received these treats in a Pet Treater box. Generally my father takes these treats with him to the dog park and shares them with all Meadow’s new friends. I am sure he is the most popular human at the dog park! These are treats that are Made in the USA. These gluten-free treats are made with slices of sweet potato and real chicken and are made with high quality USA sourced ingredients and contain no chicken by-products, artificial flavors or colors.
Blue Elephant Rope Toy: Meadow knew that this toy was chewable and for her. Sadly it only took her 30 minutes until we were seeing blue rope particles in front of her – she began to shred this apart. The end result was that chew toy will be watched and chewed under controlled circumstances.
PetZip: Goody Ball: I love this, a more difficult way to get to treats. I decided that Meadow has enough chew/treat toys so we are actually giving this to the Boxer/Boston Terrier next door, which he will love since he is still in that puppy phase.
I Love My Dog Wall Hanger and Pawprint Sentiment Framed: Timing is completely everything in life. My father has set up at “Meadow Station” in his house, which houses all her leashes, treats, bandanas and other items, The item that was missing was a way to hang her leashes for easy access – problem solved with the “I Love My Dog” Wall Hanger. The Pawprint Sentiment will be kept in my house and put in the cats area of the house.
Maple Bacon Ice Cream: I know that Meadow likes ice so a flavored creamy product should be a home run with her. My father is going to wait for a warmer day or after a long dog park day to give this to her. I am sure she will LOVE IT!
Treats for Human and Dog: Each month Pet Treater includes a present for the guardian of the animal. This month was a Baron Chocolate Sea Salt and Carmel Chocolate Bar, which is like Pet Treater knew what our favorite flavor of chocolate bar was. This was put in the freezer to be eaten when a chocolate infusion is needed.
As I have mentioned in the past, this box NEVER disappoints and I think Meadow sees me arrive and know that she is about to be spoiled. I love spending this special time with her, and love watching her interact with each of the contents.
