Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – March 2016 Review

Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – March 2016 Review

Peaches and Petals Live Life in Color March 2016When I was a teenager I discovered the wonder of paint and the versatility. One day I was at the home improvement ship with my father and I saw the paint department. My father, never one to squash my creative spirit, told me I can purchase any color I wanted for my bedroom.

Lucky for my father, I never went through a black phase, and I always loved color. That simple act of creativity began a 10 year oddessy into paint colors and learning about the importance of primer when covering dark colors with light.

As I got older and moved out of my childhood bedroom I realized that it was not realistic to repaint each wall in my house. The problem was that I wanted color in my environment, so I began looking for cost-effective alternatives. Today I express my love of color in the knives on our counter, the plates we eat one, the pillowcases on our bed, the boxes we use as decorative storage and anything else where color is an option.

Since I love color so much, I could not wait to see the March Peaches and Petals box. Each month there is a full color postcard that gives a “teaser” about the next month. When I saw in February’s box March’s theme of “Live Life in Color”, I was excited. Each month Peaches and Petals is taking the concept of a monthly subscription box and sending a monthly treat to their subscribers.

Peaches and Petals is a monthly box that caters to ‘fun, flirty, fashionable vintage and modern lifestyles’. As a subscriber each month you will receive 3-5 items hand selected by the Peaches and Petals team. The included items, usually within a theme, can range from books, household items, nail polish, makeup, scarves or/and something you never imagined. Additional and other items can be included, depending on the box and theme for the month.

I have been lucky to be able to review this for the past couple months (see previous box reviews here) and each box is better than the previous. It is obvious each month that it that they strive to make sure the items are useful, stylish and high quality while maintaining the thematic feeling.

The box was full of colorful and color inspired items, and included the following within the “Live Life in Color” theme:

Everyone Loves Coloring Patterns Coloring BookStress Relieving Coloring Book and Colored Pencil Set with Sharpener – The best way to add color in your life to create it yourself! I LOVED that this months theme included a coloring book, and as added perk they also included a set of colored pencils with a sharpener (Thanks P&P – I needed a pencil sharpener!). The pictures throughout the coloring book are of a wide variety and there is a design to match almost every type of mood.

Cheerios and Fruit Loop Mug and SpoonColor Me Inspired – Mug with Spoon  – There are two things I love about this mug. The first being the color and the sentiment on the front. The second is, not only the spoon, but the convenient way that it is stored on the mug. I am a tea drinker and I love honey in my tea and this will make the stirring much easier. The inside of this mug is the same purple as the spoon – color coordination at its best. buy symbicort online https://rxxbuynoprescriptiononline.com/symbicort.html no prescription

Pretty in Pink Ultra Slim Power BankSurprise Item: Pretty In Pink – Ultra Slim Power Bank – I was completely surprised when I began looking through the box and I saw a power bank. I attend a good amount of expo’s and trade shows and use my phone constantly, and many times I have been saved by my power bank. The only problem is that power bank I use is a little larger and a little heavier. This pink power bank is lighter, and more compact which makes it easy to take with me.

Bath Bomb and Eyeshadow

Tri-Color Bath Bomb and Eye Majic Eyeshadow – While I do not have a bathtub, I have a couple I can take over and that is my plan to use this next time I do a “tub take-over”. This is a bright bath bomb that smells as good as it looks! Prior to this box I have never hear of instant eye shadow. I plan to use this the next time Jason and I go out (which we are doing in the next couple weeks) so I will have to let you all know after I use it.

Enjoy EverythingSurprise Item : Small Bag –  This is bright yellow bag that is large enough to fit this months ultra slim power bank, the instant eye shadow and the colored pencils. I love the outside color and I love the inside just as much! This bag would make a good make-up bag, or a simple bag to take on a night out. Whatever the use, the bright color will always catch an eye. buy synthroid online https://rxxbuynoprescriptiononline.com/synthroid.html no prescription

I have always told Jason that it is hard to be sad when you have color around you, and I will always include color in my environment. I will be honest and tell you that each month is a diverse selection of items in the boxes each month. I can honestly day that each month I look forward to getting my Peaches and Petals Box!!
