Nick’s Stick’s Jerky Review and Giveaway
One of my favorite things as a review blogger is when I company that I like expands their product lines and I have the opportunity to sample their new offerings. Many times this expansion is a good and expands upon an existing good idea.
A recent example of this is Nicks Stick’s. Nick’s Sticks already made free-range meat sticks that are a favorite with Jason. When I heard that they have also branched into the jerky world I was more that intrigued. When I emailed to congratulate them on this newest offering they were generous enough to send a bag of each of the 4 available flavors to try including: Traditional Beef Jerky, Prairie Fire Beef Jerky, Traditional Turkey Jerky and Prairie Fire Turkey Jerky.
We received one package of each of the 4 available flavors to try including: Traditional Beef Jerky, Prairie Fire Beef Jerky, Traditional Turkey Jerky and Prairie Fire Turkey Jerky.
The first set of flavor that we tried were the Traditional Beef Jerky and Prairie Fire Beef Jerky. I should say that I am very sensitive to spicy items so my first concern was the spice levels. I can honestly say that yes, it is a little spicy but not enough to upset my tummy. The jerky was moist and chewy and full of flavor.
The second variety was Traditional Turkey Jerky and Prairie Fire Turkey Jerky. This was very similar to the beef jerky, and full of flavor. The spice levels were the same as the Prairie Beef and not to spicy bit full of flavor.
Each product made with no MSG, no nitrates, no antibiotics, no hormones and no dyes. This is 100 % grass-fed beef and turkey. The grass-fed beef used has nearly 5 times more Omega-3 then conventionally raised beef. The meat is healthy therefore the sticks are pure and healthy.
I am really pleased to see that Nick’s Sticks is branching out and creating new items within the meat field. The addition of jerky is a positive addition and a great offering for camping, fishing and even a day hike.

I actually have a few times and it was great. I have a higher end large dryer that I’ve used for both personal and commercial uses over the years. It holds like 10 trays at a time and works really good.
