There has been a lot of transition going on around us lately – from neighbors moving to hospital visits, it has been a long and rough couple months. I dont entertain much but when I first bought the apartment i lived in, I was so excited and I threw a big party for my co-workers. It was a lot of fun!
When I was married it seemed that I was the host to my husbands family a lot of the holidays and other times throughout the year. After we divorced I moved back to my hometown which is about 15 miles from the nearest town. My house is out of the way for the majority so I do not entertain much at all.
I can’t think of anything out of the ordinary that happened when I did entertain.
I do not entertain. But I do have family over for family dinners. I love having birthday parties with cookouts. Those are memorable to me because they are families having fun.
We don’t do a lot of entertaining lately, but we use to have some great Christmas parties. We also use to host “tv night” when friends would come over to watch a show that we all enjoyed.

We entertain quite a bit. My most memorable visit was when we were having Christmas dinner with the whole family on Christmas eve and my son who had been deployed in the military walked in.
