Coloring Flower Mandala Postcards: 20 Hand-Drawn Designs for Mindful Relaxation Review and Giveaway

coloring-flower-mandala-postcardsI am a fan of sending happy mail to friends, family and acquaintances. I believe the art of sending postcards and cards through the mail has been replaced by quick messages on social media and two-line emails.

Since cards can take time to create and assemble it is nice to have an easy alternative. When I received the book Coloring Flower Mandala Postcards: 20 Hand-Drawn Designs for Mindful Relaxation by Wendy Piersall for review I knew I found my easy way to send a personalized greeting via mail.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Ulysses Press. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

Coloring Flower Mandala Postcards: 20 Hand-Drawn Designs for Mindful Relaxation by Wendy Piersall is a collection of 20 postcards that are perforated on the binded side making for easy removal.

flower-mandala-postcard-1The book contains 20 easy to remove postcards that have a wonderful mandala image on one side and on the other there is room for a message. Also included is a space for you to put a stamp and address – everything you need to send this through the mail system.

The flowers represented in this postcard collections are Orchids, Roses, Gardenias, Vines, Lilies, Sunflowers, Lotuses, Marigolds, Poppies and Tulips to name a few. The book is compact at 96 pages and measuring 7.8 x 4.9 inches making it easy to take with you when you are on the go.

flower-mandala-postcard-2I would recommend using pens that do not bleed or ruin the side that is mean for addressing. I would recommend crayons or colored pencils, even water colors would be a good choice.

Since the current rate to sent a postcard is .34 it makes for a inexpensive thoughtful gift for someone you whose day you want to brighten.

flower-mandala-postcard-3This collection of postcards would be a great gift basket addition or a cute addition to a larger gift. One thing is for sure, the recipient will love and appreciate the handmade nature of this postcard that they will save for years to come.

I don’t remember. I would get them from my mother in law and throw them out. Sister in law sent them from South America

My dad used to travel for work and would send me postcards from around the world. I would say the one from Africa was the most unique.

I have received a postcard from Mexico, and I think the only other one I ever got was from the Lake of the Ozarks,.

I sent a postcard from Tijuana, Mexico and the Mexican government held it for months and then finally sent it completely censored because I’d complained about animal cruelty in Mexico. …The poor mules that they used to have sitting tied up on the corners in Tijuana. I hope that’s no more.

our family participate in Postcrossing and we got so many cards from all over the world. But one of the most unique was from Trinidad and Tobago
