Color the Cosmos Adult Coloring Book Review

Color the Cosmos: A Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book Review and Giveaway

Color the Cosmos Adult Coloring BookUp until the 1960’s the moon was an unexplored rock and largely a mystery. On July 20, 1969 the entire way we seen the moon and cosmos changed forever.

The moon landing was a not only a scientific feat but one of great personal accomplishment. The mystery of what is up there was a little less mysterious. I personally find it amazing that at any given moment there is somebody who is sitting in a low orbit to earth, with the purpose of studying and learning. I am not sure if we are alone, I almost feel like it is silly for us to think we are the only people smart enough to get beyond our atmosphere. Either way there is one simple fact that remains – they are up against the same hurdles as humans in regards to safe travel.

When I recently received the Color the Cosmos: A Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book by Daniela Licalzi and Carolina Licalzi for review I began wondering what is beyond our solar system and what or who else lives there. Color the Cosmos: A Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book by Daniela Licalzi and Carolina Licalzi contains 30 cosmic patterns that will make you wonder and dream about what is “out there”. Each page is inspired by the cosmos and includes the planets and even an alien or two. Each planet is re-imagined in a creative and inspiring patterns that give the flexibility to color the cosmos in a way that you think they may be.

Collage of Coloring the CosmosThe cosmos are as mysterious as they are vast and despite travels, it is still a mystery. There are many limitations that inhibit our travels, the largest of which being how to leave the Solar System. Until we figure out the science behind the travel, we will not be able to overcome the obstacles in our way.

If you open the book wide and press down on the interior spine you might be able to crack the binding since this book does not lie flat on its own. By cracking the binding this will then assist in making the book flat which makes coloring a little easier.

As always it is important to note that the book’s pages are glued to the binding like a traditional book, making tearing the picture out a little more difficult. My recommendation is to take care when tearing or removing the page or use a cutting device such as scissors or a craft knife to get the page out. If you decide to cut these out, take care as some of the pictures are close the binding.

My usual recommendation applies for this cosmic wonderland and I recommend a piece of paper under the page you are coloring to avoid bleeding through to other pages or creating impressions on the following pages. I used gel pens to give a sparkle and a metallic feel, as I think this reflects space. Also, please let any ink dry before closing the book I smudged my image because I thought the ink was drier then it was, so give the area colored a little time to dry.

Colored CosmosMany nights I can see the moon out my upstairs window just by sitting on my couch. I often wonder if we really were the first people to arrive, photograph and walk on the moon. There are many mysteries in this world, and one of the biggest is “Are we alone in this world?”. I am unable to give much more than my opinion. I can say that if we are not alone I doubt that the other inhabitants will look like what we perceive that they look like, maybe someday we will know that answer.

On a related/unrelated side note, be sure to check out retired Commander Scott Kelly’s Twitter feed – the pictures from the International Space Station can not be matched by ANYTHING here on earth.

I recommend Color the Cosmos: A Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book by Daniela Licalzi and Carolina Licalzi for all flower lovers!

I think that the has to be life elsewhere in the universe. But, I also believe that it is not as we have envisioned.

I definitely think there’s life out there. It would be pretty shocking to me if there wasn’t!

I’m not sure. There could be other life out there, but I don’t know.

Multiple universes without any other intelligent life? That seems highly unlikely to me. I vote for other life. =)

I think we are pretty much alone and we won’t be here for too terribly long in terms of the age of the universe.

I’m sure there’s some sort of life out there, but I don’t know if it’s what they refer to as “intelligent life”.

There has to be other life out there.. We can’t be the only ones in this whole universe.
