Cat Lady Box Monthly Subscription Review and Giveaway – March/Spring 2016
I recently made a discovery – Murfee HATES thunder. We are in the middle of a El Nino style rain here in California and with severe rain also comes thunder and lightning. One night Jason and I were sitting on our couch and we began hearing the tell-tale signs of thunder.
When we least expected it, the thunder clapped and all of a sudden Murfee’s eyes got large and he looked scared. Jason took it upon himself to try and comfort our little man, and out him in his lap. After discovering that this was little help, Jason grabbed a shirt with our scent on it and covered Murf. All of sudden the thunder clapped, and Murfee did not react – he felt secure under a shirt on Jason’s lap.
Cats are unique, and I think that part of our job as humans is to learn to read the signs our animals give us. Jason and I are complete cat people and we always want to learn to be better cat guardians where ever possible – every situation is a learning expierence. I, in particular, am a cat lady and I love to display my pride and love of all things feline.
Each month look forward to receiving a Cat Lady Box as it is the perfect addition to my cat filled life. To say that each box is “pawsome” is an understatement. Each month is better than the last, (see previous reviews here). The box exterior is printed with the logo and is almost a proud announcement of your Cat Lady status. Once the box is open, you are greeted with a black tissue with a sticker enclosing everything in the box. The box is packaged well, and there is space enough that items do not get smooshed and smashed together.
This months contents were catered to me and my feline companions and included the following:
Spring Kitten Tote Bag by Tiniest Tiger: Jason and I have been talking about doing some traveling and I am in desperate need of a bag, well I was in need. This months box included a cute tote. This is a dark charcoal gray bag with a kitten silhouette in Peach Echo, which happens to be one of Pantone’s Spring Colors! The lining is in the same Peach Echo color and is full of pockets and zippers as well as lots of space inside.
*Exclusive* – Colorful Spectra Cat Umbrella: This is a Cat Lady Box exclusive and is a work of art to say the least! This is from artist Asra Rae and was made exclusively for Cat Lady Box. This umbrella opens with the touch of a button and also closes as easy. This umbrella is large enough for two people to use, and since we are headed into a El Nino, I am THRILLED I have a cute umbrella to use!

Cat Toys – Hermie Worm by Loopies and Eco Stacks by Hauspanther: I love cat toys, I have a collection of adorable faced creatures. Each toy made the cats play and the Eco Stack allowed Maggee to bat something around, and run after it. I think our cats are similar to me, as they tend to hoard toys in their “toy bed”. I like to have as stimulating a world as possible despite them being stuck inside all the time.
Jamie Shelman: There was something magical about these cats. I love the simplicity of them, yet i feel as though each one has it’s own “purr”sonality. I am going to be framing this postcard and placing it within my other cat photos and prints.
Included is each months box contains a postcard featuring a new cat print, and each month is different from the previous months. These normally sit in the inside of my kitchen cupboard and make great additions to a bland inside cupboard..

As most of these items are made special for CatLadyBox it is hard, if not impossible, to locate them outside the monthly box subscription. If I was able to locate the items, then I have included the links for you to possibly purchase them without a box subscription.
I consistently enjoy this box, and each month truly does get better than the month before. I can only imagine things getting better, and added exclusivity as the box gains momentum. Take my advice and subscribe, you will LOVE IT!!!
