Cat Lady Box Monthly Subscription – “Meowy Holidays” – December 2016 – Review + Giveaway
The holidays are here and it is time for cats of the world to assist their humans with the present wrapping in front of them. Maggee and Murfee love to walk all over the paper and listen to the crinkle under their paws.
One of my favorite thing during this season is to watch my cats as they watch the musical Christmas lights we have. There eyes dance around each light and as I wonder what is going through their minds, I find myself relaxing with the rhythm of their purrs.
If I know anything, it that this season is as magical for humans and cats alike. When I received the “Meowy Holidays” themed Cat Lady Box, I knew that it would be seasonally appropriate and full of holiday themed items.
The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of CatLadyBox.com in consideration of a review, but all opinions are my own.
The “Meowy Holidays” theme contained the following CatLadyBox Exclusive items:
Feline Lux Cat Clutch – CatLadyBox Exclusive: This is a great cute cat shape that is usable 3 ways (wristlet, a clutch, or cross-body straps). I love the cat shape and the ears! There is a zipper inside to keep valuables and a magnetic closure. Cat Lady Box is on the back of the clutch and it is light-weight.
Soft Kitty Winter Gloves – CatLadyBox Custom: First it is important to note that these gloves are the same fabric as inside the clutch – yes it coordinates! These were made special for Cat Lady Box and are soft.
Amber Silver Cat Ring – CatLadyBox Exclusive: I love this amber cat ring! When you include the clutch and gloves, you have the perfect ensemble for a Cat Lady Night on the Town!
*CAT TOYS* Floppy Elf Catnip Toy & Catnip Champagne Cheer – CatLadyBox Exclusive: The Elf reminded me of the ever popular “Elf on a Shelf” that is so popular this time of year. The glass of champagne has string and catnip, which makes for the perfect combination for my catnip loving cat.
Cat Lady Featured Artist – Amber Alexander “Snow Kittens”: Cat and snow are a perfect combination. This months cat lady artist lives in Vermont, and likes to imagine animals living lives very much like we own.
As most of these items are made special for CatLadyBox it is hard, if not impossible, to locate them outside the monthly box subscription. This box gains momentum and further exclusivity each month and with that has become the normal each month.
As an added bonus to the cat community that each month 5% of profits go to cat rescues. Cat Lady Box also gives subscribers an opportunity to nominate an organization to be a beneficiary of Cat Lady Boxes generosity.
Also available are 1 month gift subscriptions, perfect for a cute and unique gift!

For the CatLadyBox comes with 2-3 items for the human and are $34.99 – month to month, $99.00 – 3 month membership, $187.99 – 6 month membership. right now I don’t have a cat but well when I did have one it was a out side cat as well as a in side cat that’s because I had 2 of them a long with the dogs I had for years now
2 indoor cats because we live in the country and they are safer in the house
(Down to) 7 indoor cats – because they were all abandoned outdoor cats; three are the result of a feral giving birth. I can’t count the # of outdoor cats I’ve spayed/neutered.
Letting cats be outdoor cats isn’t fair to them. The world is just too dangerous for them.
I have to cats, both are indoor only. My oldest is a girl and she is almost 20 and the youngest is a boy and I think he is about seven. I plan to have them a long time, so I keep indoors.
Indoor, since it’s safer.
I rescue cats. Right now I have 10 indoor cats. We keep them indoors it is a lot safer for them
Our cat was an indoor cat for 2 years, then she was let out by mistake one day. That was it she started streaking by every time the door was opened. I don’t fight it anymore, I just make sure she is as protected as she can be.
Indoor. Growing up, we had a cat that was attacked by a raccoon so I feel it’s safer to have an indoor cat.
Simba is an indoor/outdoor cat! He was a rescue and was used to being outside. He is 12 now and is indoors most of the time!
I have an indoor Cat named to Colonel because I like in a high rise apartment!
While my cat was originally a street cat, he was diagnosed with FIV and has a compromised immune system. Keeping him indoors limits the chance he’ll get infections or other sicknesses or infect others.
My cat is an indoor cat. I think he’d die in the heat to be honest.
But I do feed the strays that live around here so I kinda have both. 🙂
We have two cats named Mr.biggles and Katie purry
Indoor, it is safer and I get to spend more time with him.
Our daughter has an indoor tortoiseshell cat named Lillian. She has always been an indoor cat due to living in a harsh wintery climate and for Lillian’s own safety
I have indoor kitties! I decided on them being indoors because I get scared something will happen to them if they’re outdoor kitties.
I have 3 indoor only cats that I personally rescued from different situations. They needed a home so desperately , that’s why I chose that path. There are also 7 outdoor cats that are neighbor’s cats that either don’t take care of them or don’t want them, so I took them under my wing. I even got them all spayed and neutered 3 years ago. I took that path because they were already used to being outside and would not come in.
I have 1 indoor male cat who I’ve had since he was 6 weeks old. I am his only ever mommy. He is strictly indoors. To me he is a big part of my family. I would never put a family member outside and I could never do so to him.
Only indoor cat because I live in NYC
I have 2 indoor cats. I lost an outdoor cat to 2 large dogs, so I vowed never again. 🙁
I have 2 indoor cats. I keep them close to me for safety. Thanks so much!

I have 6 indoor cats and 1 stray outdoor cat I feed
I have an indoor cat. All my kitties throughout my life have been indoor cats because I don’t want them getting hit by a car.
I will always have indoor cats. It is way too dangerous where I Iive for cats to roam outside. Too many cars go down my street.
My 10 kitties sometimes come inside and sometimes play outside. They’re safer outside in the barn though because I have big indoor dogs too.
Very nice post!
indoor, safer
I don’t believe in letting cats roam. Mine are now, always have been, and always will be indoor-only cats. I am willing to take them out on leashes (which they really don’t like, so we don’t do it often) and I’ve set up dog crates on the back deck and let them get some fresh air in them, but they are never allowed loose. The life expectancy of a cat allowed to roam is only about 1/4 that of an indoor-only cat. My cats get plenty of exercise indoors (two of them chase the laser light for hours!). Two of the three cats I have right now were found as strays. Moko was found by the father of a friend, and I found my Kotoha in the neighbor’s yard. She was just two weeks old and I had to bottle feed her. She just turned six months old on the 22nd of this month.
We have an indoor, so she can remain safe.
We have an Indoor cat as she was declawed.
I have an indoor cat because our previous cat was an outdoor cat and she disappeared
I have 4 cats indoors only to keep them safe from predators and diseases .
I have one cat that lives indoors but loves getting outside to roam around.
All of mine are indoor cats, it is much safer with eagles and other big predators around here.
I have 2 indoor cats.
I have an indoor cat. She was given to me by a friend.
I have two indoor cats, and they’re indoors because we live in a large city.
I have 3 indoor cats!
Indoor, did not want to make more kitties
My cat is indoor/outdoor. She spends the night inside and most of the day but goes out to wander around the yard and use the potty since she won’t use the litterbox. She has been spayed so no more kitties here!
I have 3 indoor cats and feed 3 ferel outside cats, 2 about to be rehomed, amen!

I have an indoor cat. I like to keep an eye on her but she does like to lay out on the balcony
We have outdoor cats because they love to roam in the woods behind our house

I have 2 indoor kitties. One used to be an outdoor cat who belonged to my grandmother but she moved up here with me and we brought her cat. I live on a much busier road than she did so we thought it was best that she don’t go outside. The other cat we brought home as a kitten and he doesn’t know any better about being outside or not so he’s content!
Woohoo got the email I won can’t wait to see what I get
