Canyon Bakehouse Holiday 2015 Giveaway!!

Green BrownieI love the holiday and the decadence that comes with it – the breads, the baked goods and the bagels on Christmas morning. I am saddened that as we embark on this holiday season that those with gluten sensitivities could miss out on this decadence – that is until now.

Canyon Bakehouse is a gluten-free bakery that makes breads, bagels, buns and brownie bites among other bakery items. Everything made in this dedicated gluten-free bakery is made of 100% all natural whole grain ingredients that are not only gluten-free and kosher but dairy free, tree nut free, soy free NON-GMO ingredients.

With the wide variety of products that Canyon Bakehouse offers you can transform any of your holiday favorites gluten-free. For example take the Rosemary & Thyme Focaccia, cut it up into cubes, bake to desired firmness for croutons. Another example is take the Brownie Bites and whip up some homemade whipped cream and top, then let little ones decorate.

I miss eating out. We used to go all the time and I enjoy getting to spend time with friends and family. Now I can’t eat the bread they serve on the table and I have to be picky about what I get.

I’m not gluten free yet. I haven’t tried enough products to see how much I like them to be gluten free.

I think going gluten free causes a person to miss the freedom of just eating whatever they want without having to read food labels or asking questions at restaurants about the ingredients.

I don’t actually care either way- I can eat gluten with no problem. Gluten free is fine, also. I actually have a box of vital wheat gluten in my fridge right now, as I have found it to be necessary for some bread recipes.

I am not GF, but my daughter’s fiance is and when they are over, we make our meals GF (and DF, and egg free). I don’t know that I could do it, but he misses sandwiches the most.
