Brazi Bites: Brazilian Cheese Bread Review + Giveaway

I love the combination of cheese and bread, and when you put these together they are simply the marvelous perfect snack.One of my favorite snacks is cheese bread and sauces, there is nothing messy and more fulling then a bite of bread and cheese!

I have heard of Brazi Bites a couple of times over the past couple years, from expo’s to my Friday night television, since they were on Shark Tank. Even then I was intrigued to same these and am thrilled I finally got the opportunity since these are becoming available in health food store and mainstream super markets.

I received some coupons to purchase a couple of bags of Brazi Bites – Brazilian Cheese Bread and I was able to locate three of the four flavors locally.

Since I had just sampled these at the Gluten Free and Allergen Friendly Expo, I was super excited to get some bags to try at home. I was able to locate 3 of the 4 varieties locally including Cheddar & Parmesan, Garlic Asiago, and Zesty Pepper Jack. The 3 Cheese Pizza Brazilian Bread Bites were not in stock in my area.

The first thing to know is that they are frozen and they come small and ready to cook. It is recommended that you put them in the oven frozen and about an inch apart. The recommended cooking time is right around the 20-25 minutes, but since I made 8 bites in each of the 3 flavors I had, it took a little longer to cook.

When they were completed cooking they looked very similar to the ones in the photo. These are best served hot, and they are very filling and tasty. These DO NOT have that typical after taste that gluten-free can plague many bread items that are gluten-free.

I had three varieties including Cheddar & Parmesan which was my hands down favorite flavor. The Garlic Asiago was not heavy on the garlic flavor, and the cheese was a nice additional flavor. The Zesty Pepper Jack was a little on the spicier side, but not intolerable to my otherwise sensitive stomach. Also available is a 3 Cheese Pizza Brazilian Bread Bites flavor, but despite searching a couple different stores they either did not have in stock or were sold out. One store I went to was surprised that I was able to find them, since they tend to sell out as soon as they are stocked.

These are some of the best bread bites I have tasted, and I plan to make them to have next to a spaghetti dinner and with marinara. If i have one complaint is that they can get a little on the dry side after you have had numerous once, so I do recommend a dipping sauce of butter and garlic, marinara or even a white sauce.

Each time I come across these in my travels at expos, I always know I am going to get a good snack that will have me craving more. The colors catch your eye, and the bites always look delicious to the eye!
