Bobo’s Oat Bars: Bobo’s Bites Review and Giveaway

It is not secret that as a blogger at times my time is limited, and I am on my way somewhere. I am always looking for easy ways to get the nutrients I need with a easy on the go snack.

Last year I had the chance to try Bobo’s Oat Bars and as I said then I wish I had these when I was a high school student and always running late.

Bobo’s Oat Bars are are mini loaves of compressed oats and are are available now available in Bobo’s Bites! These Bites come in 6 flavors including Original, Apple Pie, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Lemon Poppyseed, Maple Pecan and Coconut.

I had the chance to try 3 Bobo’s Oat Bars Bites which included the following:

My favorite was the Maple Pecan – it has a strong maple smell when you open the package and a solid maple flavor in each bite and are identical to the full size bars.

The second Bite I tried was the Lemon Poppyseed, which I did not have the opportunityto sample the first time I but really wanted to! I have recently discovered the wonder of poppyseeds and have really begun liking them. These bites had a wonderfully lemon flavor with the “pop” of poppyseeds.

The third and final flavor I tried and sadly my least favorite was the Coconut. This is not to say that it was bad. When the package was opened there is a distinct coconut smell and an immediate flavor of toasted coconut upon the first bite. If you are a coconut lover, I HIGHLY recommend this bar!

Bobo’s was founded in 2005 in Boulder, Colorado by Beryl Stafford. Every bite is 100% Vegan, contain NO Trans Fats, Soy Free, and are made with Organic Ingredients while remaining gluten-free!

These Bobo’s Bites are the perfect addition to the Bobo’s Oat Bar Family – these are the same bars but in individually packaged bites!

These oat bars look delicious and I would love to try them. Normally my favorite on the go snack is “snack mix” from a peanut shop near my job. Sesame sticks, peanuts, cashew pieces and sunflower seeds.
