Bain de Terre: Blood Orange & Passion Fruit Color Enhancing Shampoo and Conditioner Review + Giveaway
When I was 18 years I began dying my hair to shades of red. The shades ranged from strawberry blond to deep dark red. My favorite shad was an in-between of the lightest and darkest – it was a nice middle ground. As I got older another color began making an appearance, and it was not one I was necessarily choosing – gray! I have begun coloring my hair, to cover this streak of gray I seem to have now.
I have reverted back to those easy days of reds, and in the sun my hair now has a nice red tone. While I enjoy dying my hair, I try to minimize it whenever possible, looking for other alternatives that will freshen my color. When I saw a color enhancing line and colors of hair care from Bain de Terre I was immediately interested in seeing if this would enhance the color.

Bain de Terre sent me the Blood Orange & Passion Fruit Color Enhancing Shampoo and Blood Orange & Passion Fruit Color Enhancing Conditioner set for review.
The main goal of the color enhancing shampoo and conditioners are to enhance and seal the red tones on red hair, as well as light brown and blonde hair. Since Blood Orange and Passion Fruit are the main ingredients, the consumer benefits from the passion fruit extracts and essential oils that are rich in vitamins. On the conditioning side, the vitamins are still present, while strengthening, conditioning and enhancing the shine in hair.
The shampoo lather’s well while releasing a fresh and fruity scent, and when rinsed, rinses easily without any residue. The conditioner is also easy to use, and a little goes a long way. The conditioner smells identical to the shampoo and also releases a fruit pleasant scent that washes away quickly and easily.
if there is one recommendation, I would say that take care when you apply the shampoo because it is a red color, and unless you rinse your hand right away, it will discolor your hand slightly. This did rinse off easily when I ran it under water, and there was no other discoloration on me or my shower. Other than that, this is a wonderful hair care duo, and it added the perfect red enhancement to your hair.
Go get some Blood Orange & Passion Fruit Color Enhancing Shampoo and Blood Orange & Passion Fruit Color Enhancing Conditioner for you hair!
