Adult Coloring Book: Celebration Edition Stress Relieving Patterns Review + Giveaway
One of my most memorable celebration’s was recent 40th birthday, in it’s simplicity I received surprises and a night that took me back 25 years earlier.
For this memorable occasion, Jason and I decided to keep it easy and simple with a gathering of our friends and family for pizza. We decided on a local pizza restaurant that was frequented to by us was teenagers. I ended up with a surprise when a friend I have known since I was 16 surprised me and attended. After pizza, that included our parents, a couple of friends came back to our house and throughout the rest of the evening had a revolving door of friends hanging out. Finally after midnight, things slowed down and I was able to reflect on what a special 40th birthday I had.
Most celebrations that commemorate big birthday and events can be incredibly stressful. It was a conscious decision that we kept it easy and stress-free. When I received the Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Patterns Celebration Edition by Blue Star Premier and thought that the next time I do have a stressful situation, this book will be the perfect antidote.
The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Blue Star Publishing. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.
Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Patterns Celebration Edition by Blue Star PremierΒ contains over 30 designs that are full of details that are full of celebration and life!
This book from the Celebration Edition is bound like a traditional book, but has perforated pages for easy removal. The paper is heavyweight and artist-grade that is thick and allows for experimentation with different coloring media.
If you want the book to lie flat you can open the book and press down on the interior spine, which will then create a crease that will let the book be flat. Otherwise the book will not stay open on its own and you will have to either weigh the opposite down while coloring.
As stated above the paper used in this book is a bit thicker than other “Celebration Editions” Blue Star coloring books. Despite this I would still recommend placing a piece of paper under the page to be colored to avoid bleeding through to other pages. This also will assist in the prevention of creating impressions on the following pages.
This book would be a great way to commemorate a special day in someone’s life. The designs are full of paisleys, circles, stars, hearts and random smaller images.
Each of the books in the celebration edition series are not only on thicker paper, but once colored and kept in the book would make a unique and special coffee table book. These are comfortable to color in, and are of a higher quality which happen to be similar qualities to many celebrations.
