Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review – Special Edition Cat Box

Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review: Special Edition Cat Box

Special Edition Cat Box ContentsAnybody who knows me in my offline life knows that I love cats. I have had 4 cats in my adult life – Maggee, Murfee, Momar and Sebastian. My cat Momar was a pure bred Birman, and not the friendliest of cats. The belief was that he knew he was gorgeous and that gave him right to be a bit on the temperamental side.

My cat Sebastian was a white deaf odd-eyed boy, that was a young cat when I discovered him in the rain. It was a rainy the day I rescued him and the saddest thing was that he did not know to get out of the rain. I took him to the vet, got him checked out, and learned that he was a feral cat that was a kitten when he was introduced to the outside world. It took some time but what resulted was a friendly and sweet cat that lived to almost 10.

My two cats now are easily as special as Momar and Sebastian were, and I love to spoil them. Each month I review the Dog Pet Treater box, but recently I had the opportuity to review the Special Edition Cat Box!

Each month I look forward to the Pet Treater Dog themed box, so when I heard that they were launching a Special Edition Cat Box I knew I wanted one to review and share with you all! Enclosed in this limited and special edition box was the following items:

Scratch n Climb in ActionScratch ‘N Climb Play Center: This measures in at 14 inches high and 28 inches wide and 12 inches deep, which gives two cats enough room to sleep next to each other. At one point Jason noticed that the cats were both grooming and renamed this to the “Grooming Hut”. Murfee seems to like to climb on top and then hunker down, while Maggee is happy under it. This arrangement allows them to have their own space while still being able to play.

More Stuff on my CatMore Stuff On My Cat Picture Book: I am always putting things on my cats and capturing photos, so needless to say I loved this book. While this was a cute addition, I can only see a couple peruses through this book before I re-gift it to a fellow cat lover. Very cute book for cat lovers though!

Smart and TastySmart ‘n Tasty: These are grain-free, Gluten-free, soy and dairy free chicken flavored treats. Since Maggee loves all things chicken these I am sure will be a hit. Due to Murfee not being as much of a treat cat we try to limit the open packages so Maggee gets fresh treats, and not stale.

Kristin Cat Nip Fillable FrogCatnip Filled Frog:  If there are two things that my boy loves is stuffies and catnip. The more catnip, the better for Murfee. On the other hand Maggee has little to no interest in toys of these genre – she prefers the treats.

Roll On Cat NipPet Stages – Roll On Catnip: This was a HIT with my little four-legged friend named Murfee. I am under the belief that Murfee is a catnip addict, as every time I bring it out he gets very happy. The second I took the cap off he was rubbing it and making sure to get the catnip on him.

Simple Solution Cat Bathing WipesCalming Cat Bathing Wipes: These are perfect since Murfee and Maggee are not fond of baths, and we do not like to stress them unnecessarily. There are 8 thick wipes in this package, I would have liked these to be air sealed so they stay wet for a longer time, but I plan to put them in an air-tight container to preserve them longer.

Paw Print Litter MatPaw Print Litter Mat: Litter is the bane of my feline guardianship. No matter what I do, the litter goes around my house. I recently purchased a door mat and placed next to the litter box which has helped almost 90% of the tracked litter I fight daily. This paw print is much cuter and much more compact than the mat I use now, and I will be swapping them out soon.

Red Barn Cat TreatsRedbarn Cat Treats: Where treats are concerned our Maggee is interested. I have come across very few treats that our girl will not eat. Murfee is a historically picky eater, so his lack of interest Redbarn Cat Treatsdid not surprise Jason or I.

Jungle BallSport Pet Designs Slotted Balls: This ball has feathers, and it rocks back and forth. Each time feathers come out my cats seem to think they need to groom them, which always brings me amusement to watch.
