My Masterpiece Adult Coloring Book’s Review and Giveaway
As regular readers will attest, I love coloring books. One of my favorite things to do is sit on my balcony and get lost in coloring. As I have mentioned in previous reviews, I live only about 1/4 mile from the vast pacific ocean, which provides the perfect backdrop for creativity. Despite being so close to the ocean, the deck in which I color looks out over the historic highway 101.
After almost 4 years, this view is a constantly evolving, constantly traveled road. Many times as I am sitting at my table and I use the passing cars and people as inspiration in my coloring. I have found that the constant shuffle and activity inspires me in ways that seem unlikely to those not creatively inclined.
As spring rolls on and summer approaches I find myself spending more time on my deck, especially with the increased amount of sunshine, I have more time to color. Recently I was searching online for coloring books and I discovered My Masterpiece Adult Coloring Books.My Masterpiece Adult Coloring Books is a line of coloring books that include the following titles:
Secret of the Peaceful Garden – Volume 1: This collection of 36 different images will keep you busy as well as providing a nice variety of scenes to color. The scenes include flowers in each image, against garden backdrop’s of different varieties. Each image varies in line thickness and range from large areas to color to the smallest of details. I would recommend using sharp pencils or pens with a fine tip, as there are many little areas to color on each image. Also included is a couple pages from Mood Enhancing Mandala’s Volumes 1 and 2.

Mood Enchancing Mandala’s – Volume 1 and Volume 2: Mandalas are not only relaxing but they allow you to think colorful. I believe that the time you spend coloring is quiet and private time that is between you and the paper. Each of these books have 50 mandalas to color that range in design, while maintaining the mandala theme.
Each of the My Masterpiece Adult Coloring Books are printed in a nice quality paper. The binding does not lie flat, although with a little effort you can crack the binding and thus the book will then lie flat. I would advise taking care when you remove the images for display as a couple of the mandalas are really close to the edges, as are the images in the garden themed book.

I would recommend a piece of paper under each page you color to avoid bleeding through to other pages or creating impressions on the following pages. I would also advise you letting the image dry otherwise if you do not let the image dry you run the risks of smudging your piece of art.
