Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Ocean Animals Patterns Review and Giveaway
The ocean is a vast space and believe it or not it is said that only 5% of the Worlds Oceans have been discovered. That means that with an average depth of 12,000 feet that is billions of cubic yards that are yes to be discovered.
Jason and I often comment on the above statistic and we dream and wonder what creatures lurk beyond the surface. I often think of krackens, and epic sea creatures that are only seen in the movies. Jason is a bit more macabre, with colossal squid that devour other small and weaker creatures.
When I received the Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Ocean Animal Patterns by Daniela Licalzi and Carolina Licalzi for review it began to occur to me that as vast as the ocean is, there are some creatures we know about. The coloring book Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Ocean Animal Patterns by Daniela Licalzi and Carolina Licalzi contains over 30 images to color. The animals available to color include whales, sharks, sea horses, lobster, sea urchins and seals, just to name a few.
I had seen a visual glossary of the ocean animals that were included throughout the book in a previous flower coloring book. I think that the inclusion of this guide allows the person coloring to easily identify the oceanic creature they are coloring if they are otherwise unfamiliar with it.
As with many of Blue Star Coloring Books, the book unfortunately, does not lie flat. If you open the book wide and press down on the interior spine you might be able to crack the binding which will then assist in making the book flat which makes coloring a little easier.
As always it is important to note that the book’s pages are glued to the binding like a traditional book, making tearing the picture out a little more difficult. My recommendation is to take care when tearing or removing the page or use a cutting device such as scissors or a craft knife to get the page out. There is a little space around each photo to cut a border out if you decide to frame your creation.
My usual recommendation applies for this book and I continue to recommend a piece of paper under the page you are coloring when using pens to avoid bleeding through to other pages. I used Bic markers in 3 varying blue and green shades to color the bottom part of the Blow Fish. Take care if you use Bic pens, you will have bleed through. Also, I accidentally smudged my image because I thought the ink was drier then it was, so give it a little time to dry.
I love to take walks to the ocean and sit at the top of the stairs and dream about what is beyond my sight line. I imagine that there is an entire underwater world under the sea, and with each discovery the colors and creatures we imagine become closer to reality.
I recommend Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Ocean Animal Patterns by Daniela Licalzi and Carolina Licalzi for all flower lovers!

I wouldn’t be surprised if a HUGE sea animal lives in the very depths of the ocean. I really can not wait until we have the technology to find these animals and study them. Who knows, one might hold the cure for horrible conditions like cancer!
No telling whats down there maybe one day we will discover.
I think there are hundreds of fish species we aren’t even aware of!
