Sun Bum Lip Balm Review and Giveaway

As I have gotten older I have realized that life is full of coincidence, and how timing can really make the difference. I want to share with you a great example this coincidences. Back in February I had the opportunity to review Sun Bum’s Shampoo and Conditioner. One of the things that have remained with me is the Sun Bum logo.

The Sun Bum logo is a hefty, sunglasses wearing gorilla – something that stays with you and stands out in a sea of generic logos. So, with this memorable and recently seen logo, it was easy to notice it when I saw it out my car window one day. I squealed with delight and immediately when home and investigated further. I was excited to learn that their West Coast Office is going to be within 2 miles of my house.

The new West Coast office is going to house offices and a concept store! I am very excited to see this in my community. So it probably goes without saying that when I had the opportunity to review Sun Balm Lip Balm, I was excited!

I received a .15 tube of Sun Bum Lip Balm in Key Lime for review. Let me just tell you that this not only protects, but also tastes so good! When you open the lip balm you are immediately met with the scent of Key Lime. The scent is strong and immediate, and the theme goes along with a wonderful flavor.

This lip balm is not only flavorful but it offers protection from the sun, wind and harsh ocean air. There is a good amount of product contained in the tube, and little room is left over. This lip balm went on smooth, although Jason noted some grittiness I did not.

Sun Bum Lip Balm comes in 6 flavors/scents and are available in Coconut, Pomegranate, Banana, Pink Grapefruit, Mango and of course the Key Lime I received.

As I mentioned earlier coincidences are a funny thing, as lucky would have it while I was browsing in a local hotel gift shop I came upon that logo i know well. The display was Sun Bum’s complete line of lip balms with the logo sitting atop, almost guarding the scents and flavors below. I saw this display about 3 month before I began working with Sun Bum and coincidentally that otherwise out-of-place photo now has a home. If you are looking for Sun Bum in the store, look for the bum.

If you are wanting a lip balm that is not only water-resistant (up to 80 minutes or an hour and 20 minutes!) but also tastes good. I guarantee you will want to reapply this lip balm often and frequently because it tastes so good and that is not coincidence!
