The Brush Naked Bamboo Toothbrush Sweet Giveaway!!
One of my favorite things as a review blogger is that I get to discover and sample items that I normally would not have the opportunity to. Another one of my favorite things about being a review blogger is when I have the chance to give you all an opportunity to also sample the things I find and love.
As an aunt and uncle to some truly wonderful kids we think often of the world and the environment that they will be inheriting from us. We think more about long-term sustainability and really what is sitting in landfills for generations to come to discover. Jason likes to be able to swap out his toothbrush in a fairly regular interval, therefore our contribution to landfills has been considered.
In August 2015 I had the opportunity to review The Brush Naked Toothbrush Company and their toothbrushes. At that time the toothbrushes were made of 100% bamboo and unfortunately due to manufacturing issues the company bristles are now made of a BPA-Free Du-Pont Nylon. While the bristles are not biodegradable, the handle is still made of 100% bamboo and the packaging is still recyclable and compostable. Also with this change of bristles, they are considering adding an option to receive the toothbrush without a box.

Unfortunately I had many cavities as a child. My childhood dentist was an elderly man who practiced dentistry out of his home office. He did not have an assistant, did not believe in regular cleanings, and did not use novocaine when he drilled my cavities (once I blacked out in his chair when he was drilling and struck a nerve). Only after he retired and I started going to a modern dentist did I discover just how lacking his dental care had been. Thank you for the great giveaway.
