Coloring Dream Mandalas: 30 Hand-Drawn Designs for Mindful Relaxation Review and Giveaway

Coloring Dream MandalasI am a lucky girl, I generally remember my dreams. I tend to have vivid dreams and I remember them in the morning. I see my dreams as a peek into my subconscious mind, and I am fascinated by my dreams. Some days I am disturbed by my dreams and someday’s I wonder what depths of my subconscious they come from.

With the growing trend of adult coloring books I love to see a dream themed book. The book entitled Coloring Dream Mandalas: 30 Hand-Drawn Designs for Mindful Relaxation by Wendy Piersall takes our dreams and makes them into a dreamy hand-drawn image.

Coloring Dream Mandalas: 30 Hand-Drawn Designs for Mindful Relaxation by Wendy Piersall is an adventure into your dream world and images that you might encounter in this subconscious world.

Coloring Dream Mandalas Coloring Book DetailsThe hand-drawn pictures throughout this book include inspiring quotes, dragons, fairies, butterflies, birds and dream catchers. Each of the 30 drawings are on one side of the page only. It is important to mention that the pages are not perforated, so please take care if you plan to remove the pages. While this book smaller than the typical size – 7 ½” x 9 ¼”, the smaller size fits well with the varying design sizes.

As with the other books by Wendy Piersall, I have a couple of recommendations in regards to coloring in this book. My first recommendation is I would make is that you use either fine tipped pens, colored pencils or well shaved crayons. There are thin lines and I think that crayons would make this easier and less frustrating. My second recommendation is to place a piece of paper in between each page to guard not only against bleed through from the pen use, but also any indents on the other pages that can be caused by pressing down to hard on the page.

I love to sleep, and I love to dream as it is the perfect introduction into true relaxation. If you are unable to sleep and are in need of relaxation this is book for you!

I remember my dreams immediately on awakening, but they are usually gone very shortly thereafter.

Sometimes I remember my dreams, but it is usually only if I’ve woken up to turn over or hit snooze and fall back asleep. The last hour or so of my sleep is when I can remember the most.

Most of the time I remember my dreams in the morning but if I don’t write them done or talk about them right away I will forget them.

  8. Lisa

I have multiple dreams throughout the night so I only remember the last one unless if its a nightmare in the middle of the night that wakes me up and it takes me a while to fall back asleep then I remember that one.

  9. Kathy Tracey

Sometimes I remember bits and pieces of my dreams when I wake up.

I used to remember my dreams really well when I woke up when I was younger, but now that I’m older I don’t seem to remember them much at all!

It depends on what they are. Usually, I don’t. But sometimes I do and it’s usually stuff that happened in my past and involving a certain family member.

Sometimes I remember my dreams when I wake up, but they are usually really strange. I will remember them upon waking, but I don’t have the ability to recall them days afterwards unless it was a very intense dream.

Yes, I do remember my dreams. And I always think they mean something… or are a way for our body to deal with emotions we need to feel or are feeling.
