Silver Lining Abstracts: An Adult Coloring Book of Art and Illusions Review + Giveaway
As we are growing up we are told and led to believe that every cloud has a silver lining. What I always took this as was that despite how dark a cloud is, it still can sparkle. There are many days that I remind myself of this fact, and many times remembering previous sparkles in darkness helps as well.
When I received a copy of Silver Lining Abstracts: An Adult Coloring Book of Art and Illusions by Blue Star Premier and Angela Covany the first things I thought of were all those dark clouds that had a silver lining after all.

Silver Lining Abstracts: An Adult Coloring Book of Art and Illusions by Blue Star Premier and Angela Covany contains over many designs over many images that remind me of abstract paintings.
This collections contains 35 bold, hand-drawn coloring images that feature fractal patterns, waves of light, star-bursts and shadows, and including other images. The designs range in complexity from beginner to expert-level, making coloring fun for all skill levels.
If you want the book to lie flat you can open the book and press down on the interior spine, which will then create a crease that will let the book be flat. Otherwise the book will not stay open on its own and you will have to either weigh the opposite down while coloring.
The paper used in this book is a bit thicker than other Blue Star coloring books but despite this I would still recommend placing a piece of paper under the page to be colored to avoid bleeding through to other pages. This also will assist in the prevention of creating impressions on the following pages.
There are few things as relaxing as coloring and with this abstract collection you can get this book and relieve the stress of the holiday season!

Right now we don’t have any New Years plans.
To learn how to budget better.
We will have a traditional dinner with the family. Then watch movies with snacks and watch the ball drop together.
no real plans, just a relaxing evening at home.
Hubby and I will be relaxing at home!
The kids will shoot fireworks, snacks and counting down to 2017 at midnight.
My daughter and I will relax and watch all of the count down New Year shows on TV and eat our traditional crab legs, salad and baked potatoes and sip on a little sparkling champaign.
I’ll probably sleep thru it again!
