Cat Lady Box Monthly Subscription – “Black Cats” – October 2016 – Review + Giveaway
The season of black cats and pumpkins – Halloween is almost here.
When I received the “Black Cat” themed Cat Lady Box , the first thing that i thought of was the upcoming Halloween holiday and the uptick in black cat adoptions.
The black cat is full of myth and lore, and it is advised to not walk in the path of a black cat or suffer 7 years of bad luck, or something to that effect. As we approach the holiday the tendency for black cats to disappear becomes less myth and lore and more reality. It is advised that black cat owners keep their cats close to home and indoors the days before and a day or two after – witches like black cats.
These boxes are consistently great each month and are “purrfectly” curated and each month is better than the last.

The best thing about our cat is that he brings us joy. He’s actually our daughter’s cat but they can’t have pets at their apartment. I never really liked cats but he has grown on me. 🙂
Our cat is a black cat, but we think that’s good luck. It’s difficult to get black cats adopted at shelters because of the stereotypes surrounding them and also because it’s harder to photograph them to show their personality. Love that the box highlights black cats. Anything to destigmatize them will help get more black cats adopted.
My cat is so neat. He adjusts his personality and reacts differently with each member of our family.

My cat Crystal is the nicest cat and has the sweetest temperament, both layful and affectionate. My favorite thing is every time I come home, she throws herself on the floor in front of me and shows me her belly for some rubs.
Well, my cat is deceased. The best thing about her was that she always prioritized spending time with me over alone time for her. Something most cats don’t do for their partners. However, if I won this I’d pass it along to my cat lady sister who has two cats. Jack and Charlie. Both of whom chase each other like crazy but love my sister to pieces.
My cat passed away a couple of months ago :/ I love how she would curl up on my bed and sleep, it was so adorable. I would still keep this cat box!

I have several cats (5) so to the answer the question, it is a combination of all of them… it is the purrs, the head bumps, the little meows and chirrs , it’s them playing with abandon or watchiing them watch a squirrel through the window and seeing the wild in them. It is curling up while reading or waking up with a paw on your head.
