One of my favorite things is pumpkin pie – from the crunchy crust, smooth center and whipped topping. There is nothing better and nothing rings in the holiday season quite like pumpkin does.

When I saw the Mrs. Thinster’s had released a Limited Edition flavor I knew that I had to try them.

I was generously sent a couple of bags of Mrs. Thinsters Cookie Thins in Pumpkin Spice to sample:

pumkin-spice-cookies-up-closeEven before I opened the bag I smelled the pumpkin spice scent. I tore open the bag, and as I bit the first cookie I felt like I was eating a crunchy pumpkin pie.

These limited edition cookies come in a 4 ounce bag, and contain no artificial ingredients, which means that the pumpkin flavor is actual pumpkin. These cookies do have a propensity to break, but despite this breakage they make a perfect crumble, and would make an awesome crust under a pumpkin pie. The cookies are really crunchy throughout. As an added bonus these cookies are NON-GMO, contain NO corn syrup and are available in a resealable bag.

The flavor of these are solid, not overly pumpkin or spice, and are so good that you will want them year round. These are great tasting straight out of the bag and the crispness is perfect.
