Goodie Girl: Vanilla and Cocoa Slims Review + Giveaway!!!!
It is no secret that I am a fan of Goodie Girl Cookies and we share them with our friends and loved ones as often as we can.
Recently my mother in law was mentioning that she loves the yearly mint cookies, but is sad she has to wait once a year to indulge in her favorite cookie. I have kept this in mind and on one of my mass Goodie Girl cookie purchases I bought her a box of Mint Slims.
I was eager to hear her opinion of these gluten-free cookies, and had to contain my excitement when she was taking her first bite. After she had a couple, she looked at me and declared that she likes these more than her previous once a year favorites. About a week later I heard that the box was no longer, and its contents empty.
I loved this moment and it reminded me of why I began the blog in the first place – to share products with people that they otherwise may not have known about. Recently Goodie Girl released a 8-pack package of Mint Slims, as well as Vanilla Slims and Cocoa Slims.

With the new release of the 8-pack package of Mint Slims, as well as Vanilla Slims and Cocoa Slims I knew I needed to review them and report back to you.
The Vanilla Slims are vanilla cookies that are described as dressed up in dark chocolate coating. These are similar to the Mint Slims and are crunchy, full of vanilla and most importantly chocolate coated. The Cocoa Slims are also similar to the Mint Slims, and are a double dark chocolate cookie covered in the chocolate. The first thing I thought when I tried these were that they were just like the Mint Slims minus the mint. These are also just as good as the Vanilla Slims and would make an awesome crunchy element on the top of ice cream!
I would recommend putting these in the freezer or fridge – there is something almost magical about cold, crunchy and chocolate covered cookies.
The best thing is that Goodie Girl takes the cookies we know and love but makes them safe for those who are living a gluten-free lifestyle. These are so good tasting and good for those with food allergies and for those without!
If you want a solid cookie that will always fulfill that cookie craving, these are the cookies for you and I know you will not be disappointed.

Unfortunately, the summer of 2016 was not a great one for me as I was dealing with treatment for a serious illness. However this autumn is shaping up to be much better and I would be excited to try the new cookies.

I have been working six to seven days each week, with no time off for good behavior.
I would love to try these! I am what my kids call, the Godmother of our family. I take care of everyone, except myself. Have been sick the past week, but that doesn’t matter. Hubby has been sick as well, plus we’ve had a death in the family. There’s too much to do, and take care of to be sick. Lol, isn’t that the way it always is.

Unfortunately, I spent most of Summer 2016 working either at the office or in my yard.
Oh I spent it raising Monarchs this summer! We raised and released 248! Was so exciting watching them soar!
Well, since this summer was so blasted hot, I spent most of my days inside with the AC running! I did manage pick lots of fresh veggies from my garden, and I read a lot.
I spent the summer with my Grandson and travelled to Upstate NY.
