The Cat Kit: The Summer Kit – August 2016 Review
Summer is a constant “on the go” time, if it is not the beach it is amusement parks, family gatherings and even overnight excursions. Many times with all this travel the cats are left and home, and while out of sight, they are not out of mind.
I am a cat lady and proud of it and even when we travel our cats are never far from our thoughts. I love to have cat items sprinkled throughout my daily life. I have a cat wallet that sits beside a cat umbrella in a cat bag. My girl Maggee is also my background on my phone as well as hundreds of photos on my phone.
Since I love getting cat related items as much as my cats enjoy getting toys, I was excited to be given the opportunity to review The Cat Kit, The Cat Kit is a filled with 7 adorable items for cat and human and really is “purrfect” for any cat lover.

Each month The Cat Kit box contains around 2-4 items for cats and 2-4 items for cat lovers (decor, accessories, etc.). There is a new theme “cat-egory” each month and all items fit that theme. The Summer 2016 theme was The Summer Kit and contained the following items:
“My Cat Is So Cute” Acrylic Tumbler – Cat Kit Exclusive: Since we live in a house with two cats that do not watch their surroundings, cups get spilled more often than we like. This is a major reason that we have transitioned to cups with lids, so I am super excited to see this addition. Now i can proudly announce my cat lady status, and the cup is so obviously how I feel about my cats. I also love that the straw is slotted so it will not fall out of the straw hole.
Crazy Cat Lady Felime Balm: A handmade and all natural lip balm that is made for the cat lady in us all. I love lip balms and am excited to add this to the rotation.
“Cats Are Cool” Can Holder: As regular followers of my Instagram account can attest, I am an energy drink fan which happen to come in cans. It does not take long for the can to get warm, especially on a warm day. I love having cute and functional way to keep my can cool for longer. I imagine overall this will not extend the cold into the hours, but certainly give me a little longer to drink it.
Cat Print Zippered Pouch: First thing is I love this pouch! This is a simple cotton canvas zippered pouch. The white background makes the blue cat heads pop and make this bright.
For the Cat there were 3 different toys. The first was a cute Crab Catnip Plush Toy that immediately made me think of the ocean and if cats could swim and catch their treasures. Colorful Fish Catnip Toy is made of my favorite two colors – yellow and blue. Again I loved this and though that this is what they could catch in the ocean. The Fruit Shaped Honeysuckle Toy reminded me a lemon and includes honeysuckle, which is rumored to work like catnip on some cats. Sadly mine are catnip addicts, but not honeysuckle.

NICE! I really like the cup too one of the cats is a glass nut he will stick his head and paws in it and eventually knock it over. I also like the zippered pouch very cute.
