It has been mentioned before that we love sweet things in our house, from our pets to the food we eat. Depsite having an affinity towards sweets, when we get cannolis, I would rather eat the crispy shell than the treasures inside, so when I saw that there was a cannoli chip available called The Original Cannoli Chips, my excitement level towards cannoli’s increased.

I received an assortment of flavors of The Original Cannoli Chips for review.

Cookies & Cream – These have a chocolate base with a dusting of a cream on the top. When I tried them I was expecting something a bit sweeter and more cream, but these are good regardless of my initial expectations.

Cinnamon Sugar – I am not sure there is a better flavor on sweet items than cinnamon sugar and these are no exception. These are the perfect amount of sweet without being so sweet that you feel you get a sugar bomb when eating them. These would be great along side vanilla ice cream!

Powdered Sugar – While I love powdered sugar, it tends not to be the sweetest, so when I tried these I was BEYOND impressed. These are sweet, and the perfect flavor that would go good with a chocolate dip. These were my absolute favorites, and embarrassingly , one bag has already been dusted. 

The Original Cannoli Chips are made in small batches, and it shows. Each chip has a nice wavy edge that would make it the perfect vehicle for dips. These do not contain gmos’s and are nut free with no artificial ingredients, color or flavors. 

While I may not be fond of the filled in cannolis, I am fond of these chips. These are such a great treat, and the options that can be done with them are really wide open. If you are looking for a tasty snack that will please your taste buds (and Italian relatives) then try The Original Cannoli Chips!

    Shouldn’t the question be what flavor cannoli would you NOT eat? They are all my favorite, savory and sweet lol. I say chocolate and caramel vanilla cream are good ones but not traditional.
