808 Conversation Starters for Couples Review

808 Conversation Starters for Couples: Spark Curious Chats During Dinner Time, Date Night or Any Moment Review + Giveaway

While Jason and I have known each other since we were 15 and 19 years old respectively, it isn’t until we began dating many years later that we really began to get to know each other.

Those first couple months were filled with learning, conversations and more questions than answers at times.

The most difficult part of those months, and the months/years that follow is sometimes we run out of questions to ask our partner. I particularly am interested in what Jason thinks, and honestly most times we end up on the same side of the fence on most issues. Recently I received a copy of 808 Conversation Starters for Couples: Spark Curious Chats During Dinner Time, Date Night or Any Moment by Robin Westin for review, and was immediately taken with the amount of questions, and equally intrigued by the answers.

Good Job, Brain! Review

Good Job, Brain! Trivia, Quizzes, and More Fun From the Popular Pub Quiz Podcast Review + Giveaway

good-job-brainEver since I was a young girl I loved to ask questions, and one of my favorite books of all time was a question and answer book that covered every subject and topic. My favorite topic is “Pop Culture/Entertainment”, mostly due to the fact that I follow celebrity gossip.

Often times if friends or family have a pop culture related inquiry often times I am the one that they default to. When we watch movies, Jason will say “that actor who was in that other movie” and 9 times out of 10 I know the person or movie he is referring to. My specialty is late 1980’s, to the mid 2000’s.

When I received the book Good Job, Brain! Trivia, Quizzes and More From the Popular Pub Quiz Podcast by Karen Chu, Colin Felton, Dana Nelson and Chris Kohler for review I loved seeing a book based on pop culture trivia that I could answer.

Can Holding in a Fart Kill You? Over 150 Curious Questions & Intriguing Answers Review and Giveaway

Can Holding in a Fart Kill You

When I was young I would spend my Saturdays with my father. The normal routine was that we would wake-up, go to breakfast and then run errands together. Not only did I love spending the time with my father, I got to learn to question things.

As my father and I would drive throughout San Diego, I had a book that had questions and answers in it. I would always bring a book with me, and I would query my father if he knew “Why a chicken lays eggs?” or “What makes electric electrical?”. I loved this time with my father and those simple days put a sense of questioning in me that I still have to this day.

To this day, when ever I see a curious question and answer book I am compelled to purchase it. It goes without saying that when I received for review and giveaway a copy of Can Holding in a Fart Kill You? Over 150 Curious Questions and Intriguing Answers by Andrew Thompson I remembered those days with my father.
