Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review – May 2016

Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review – May 2016

May 2016 Box Contents Each month I make the 15 minute trek over to my father’s house with the intention to visit Meadow, and present her with her monthly treats. When I arrived this month, I failed to give my father a proper “heads-up” and when I arrived dog and guardian were nowhere to be found. Lucky for Meadow, the neighborhood in which she lives has numerous parks and places to play. It did not take me long to discover the whereabouts of k-9 and human.

Noodles and Meadow 1Once I discovered my father, it turned out that she had a playdate with her best friend Noodles. It so happens that Noodles is a Golden Laberdoodle that is the same age as Meadow, as well as being a couple of homes away.

Since this month’s Pet Treater theme was “Doggie de Mayo” it seemed appropriate that I would find Meadow socializing, instead of her usual sleeping spot. I have mentioned before that I love this time of the month is when I receive the box because it gives me a chance see Meadow’s progress and growth. As I spend more time away from her the more advanced she seems when I do see her again, which is always a treat.

Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review and Giveaway – March 2016

Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review and Giveaway – March 2016

March Pet Treater BoxAs the months “march” on with Meadow, things are starting to fall into a nice rhythm for my father. I will be honest and say that when my father adopted Meadow I was unsure how he would do with the randomness a 9 week old puppy can bring.

The question has been raised about why I had such a concern. I will be honest and say that I know my father appreciates his sleep and even when I was a child he hated to be woken up. I knew that as Meadow adjusted to her new surroundings there would be an adjustment period for my father as well.

As time is showing us, as Meadow matures, the nighttime wake-up and barking are becoming less and less of an issue. Meadow now sleeps through the night and she does wake up early and wants to be let out, and these are met with smiles and acceptance. I am very happy to say she is becoming a happy and well-behaved best friend for my father.

I will be honest when I say that my favorite time of the month is when I receive the Pet Treater box. I love this time of month because I love to see Meadow’s progress and growth. I only live about 10 minutes from my furry sister, and I love she is so close. I have also learned the longer I am away, the more advanced she seems when I do see her again.

Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review – February 2016

Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review and Giveaway – February 2016

February 2016 Pet Treater BoxI was raised by a single father and I have always been the princess in the family – that was up until about 3 months ago. We had a new family member join our family that has taken the role of princess.

The addition I am referring to is of Meadow, my father’s Australian Laberdoodle. I am lucky that i live only about 10 minutes from the newly crowned girl. I love to give her toys and watch her excitement – what strikes me each time is many times she has not idea what I am about to give her but her excitement says otherwise. A box that allows me to give her these presents she so deserves is Pet Treater. It is obvious when you receive a Pet Treater box that they are continuing to distinguishing themselves in the pet box field.

Pet Treater January 2016 Monthly Box Review

Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review and Giveaway – January 2016

Pet Treater January BoxIt has been about 3 months since Meadow entered our extended family, and things are going great. In the past couple of weeks she has learned how to sit and stay and she knows her name. I think that the best thing that has come out of Meadow’s adoption is that it has made my father a happier person – which is good for everyone.

I started to think about the reasons and ways that dogs can add a positive influence in our life. The reasons are simple, but the science behind them are more complicated. The experts will say that animals bring calm, and from that calm can be lower blood pressure and an overall sense of peace. I know for our family now that Meadow is around there is a lot less aggressive speaking and less agressivee attitudes since we don’t want to scare the puppy. I think that it more that we impart human emotions on our animals and feel they feel the same as us.

Meadow was 9 weeks old on her arrival into my father’s life, and I can say that almost 12 weeks later, they are the best of friends. Since she is still a puppy, there is a lot of trial and error in her preferences towards toy and treats. In this situation the best thing is to purchase a monthly gift box, so that an assortment of toys and treats are received.  A box making a big splash in the pet gift box market is  Pet Treater. It is obvious when you receive a Pet Treater box that they are distinguishing themselves in the pet box field.

Pet Treater December 2015 Monthly Box

Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review and Giveaway – December 2015

Pet Treater HolidayWhen I was in my early 20’s we had a family dog named Poco (short for Pocohontas). Poco was a black lab with some retriever in her – she was a smart dog. Sadly, on Easter weekend in 2006 it was discovered she had a tumor and she quickly went downhill. It began with her not knowing how to jump into the back of the car and ended with her making circles upon circles with no break. She ended up being carried outside in the sun, and while my father held her, I held her snout, and we said our goodbyes. The next thing I remember is being asked if we wanted her paw print for posterity, and that was that – our family dog was gone. It was sad, and sudden – she is missed to this day!

Given the sudden way my father lost his beloved dog, I was unsure he would ever get another dog. Then about 2 months ago he mentioned that he might be ready, after all it has been over 9 years since we lost our beloved Poco. My father decided he wanted a puppy and for it to be a Australian Labradoodle. While surprised it took him so long to get another animal, I am thrilled to officially announce that we again have a dog in our family – Meadow.

Meadow was 9 weeks old on her arrival into my father’s life, and I can honestly say 6 weeks later they are the best of friends. Since she is a puppy and there is a lot of trial and error in her preferences towards toy and treats, I thought a monthly box might be a nice solution. I reached out to Pet Treater to inquire about a possible box for Meadow, and they were generous enough to send me their December box for review.

Pet Treater Subscription Box Review

Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Review and Giveaway – October 2015 Box

Pet Treater with bedThe name “best friend” is bantered around a lot in today’s world – everybody has a BFF (Best Friend Forever). I think that to be a true best friend one must be patient towards their friend, there must be a mutual respect and above all else you should enjoy spending time together.

I can think of no other best friend you can have then your family pet. I hesitate to use the term family pet because I think that they are closer to being a best friend. In my opinion animals and especially dogs fit the bill of what is described as a best friend.

I have some “pawsome” news for everyone who feels like I do and considers their dog their best friend – a new dog themed box called Pet Treater.

Pet Treater LogoWhat is Pet Treater? Pet Treater is a monthly subscription service that has your dog in mind. Basically each month they treat your best friend with quality times that you and your dog will love. The boxes generally include a treat and interactive toy as well as either a gadget to make you life eater or some other surprise! The most exciting part is that each box is different depending on the breed and size of your dog – and while there is a different you can expect to receive a box comparable to the one I am showing you here.
