Sunbelt Bakery: Dark Chocolate Chunk Granola Bars Review + Giveaway

When I was a child I took dance classes and spent a good amount of time in my father’s car when he would take me to and from dance class. At the time the only place to take lessons was almost 25 minutes from home.

Often times on my way home I would get hungry and my father would hand me a granola bar or equal treat. I always wondered how he knew I would be hungry after dance class and now I wonder why I was not some days.

The granola bars I remember were crunchy and came in simple flavors such as maple, peanut butter or the overly simplistic plain flavor. When I received Sunbelt Bakery’s Chewy Granola Bars, I knew this was not the granola bar of my youth.

Since I am already a fan of granola bars and dark chocolate I figured these would be tasty from the get go, and I was correct. The granola bar has a more of a creamy texture and less of a granola texture. The chocolate is flavorful and does not have any bitter after taste like some dark chocolate can have.

The one thing I noticed was that the shelf life of these are about 7 weeks from the time of purchase. The reason for the shorter shelf life is that there are no preservatives making these a versatile and fresh snack.

These Sunbelt Bakery Dark Chocolate Chunk Chewy Granola Bars are so good and at a mere 110 calories make them a healthier snack than otherwise possible at times.

I loved these and plan to purchase other flavors and have a rotation of granola bars. I would also advice you to add these to your rotation of snacks.
