Bamboo is one of the quickest and most renewable resources on the planet. The stalk and leaves of the bamboo plant can do everything from maintain blood and sugar levels, strengthen hair and nails and make fashionable furniture.
Recently SoapBox Soaps had a packaging redesign, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to see what bamboo can do.
The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of SoapBox Soaps. This post may contain affiliate links, but this in no way influences the review to follow.
Bamboo is one of the fastest growing resources that starts as a woody grass that grows in tropical regions and becomes a resource that grows at an immensely quick pace. Bamboo matures in 5-7 years, where a timber can take 40 years to mature. The uses for bamboo wide-ranging including –
Bamboo Beer – Yes, there is such as a bamboo beer. This brew has anti-fatigue and anti-cancer properties.
Furniture – Bamboo is lightweight, strong and durable. and being temperature resistant means that the furniture you make will look nice and will not shrink or expand in heat.
Food – Everybody knows that pandas love bamboo but it is also good for humans. The anti-oxidant properties of the skin of the bamboo can help prevent bacterial growth.
Utensils – These durable, water, odor and stain resistant forks and knives are also biodegradable.

Personal Care Products – One of my favorite bamboo items is the Soapbox Bamboo Shampoo and Soapbox Bamboo Conditioner. The company’s wide range of soaps, is Non-GMO, Vegan, Certified B Corp, EDTA Free, gluten-free, sulfate free, paraben free, and petrochemical free. In addition they use 100% recyclable materials that are made in the USA.
