Savannah Bee: Charcoal, Propolis & Volcanic Ash and Honey Lavender Soap Review + Giveaway
On April 22nd we celebrate Earth Day, and with that a little insect that makes a big impact on the environment – honey bees.
Honey is one of the longest lasting, and also versatile products that are available. One of my favorite uses of honey are in facial products and body products. The healing properties of honey are second to none and the versatility unmatched.
Savannah Bee Company is different in that they are not only making the products but also raising and caring for the bees that provide them the honey and royal jelly used.

Honey Bar Soap in Honey Lavender – The soap is a rectangle bar of soap with the bee logo embossed on the front of this 7.5 oz soap. The soap is a Honey Lavender, utilizing the benefits of honey and lavender. The soap is made from the following ingredients, including honey, beeswax, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, and pure essential oils. This smells as good as you can imagine, and washes of easy while leaving your skin soft.
The second item was the Savannah Bee Charcoal, Propolis & Volcanic Ask Cleanser. I had heard that this was a an awesome facial cleanser and it lived up to the hype. This cleanser combines activated charcoal powder, volcanic ash, kaolin clay. In addition the following honeybee hive ingredients of propolis and honey are used. These are to remove excess oil and impurities from pores without over-drying skin.
The activated charcoal has the ability to absorb and remove toxins, while the additional ingredients work to exfoliate, hydrate, and protect skin, helping to reduce instances of skin impurities.
I was initially surprised when I saw that the cleanser was reminiscent of charcoal. This spread easy and came out of the bottle easy. After I used this cleanser it rinsed off easy and left my skin feeling smooth, and I swear it was breathing on its own, it felt so good.
The Savannah Bee Company has been in the honey and beekeeping business for over 35 years, and opened their storefront and online store in 2002 selling products made from the honey they collect. With the store opening in Disney Springs in Florida, Savannah Bee Company is a small business that is taking over the honey and honey product market.

Since I was 16, I have used Oil of Olay every morning and every evening.
Truthfully, I don’t have a daily routine for my face care. I do use Perfectly Posh Complexion Perfection peppermit & walnut face cleanser every day. Other than that, I don’t do much, honestly.
All I have ever really done was wash my face!
I use the Oil of Olay line morning and evening. I have done this since I was a teen. My mom uses it, too.
I used a daily cleanser to wash my face every morning and night.

I keep a cleanser in my shower and wash every night. In the morning I splash my face with water. I put lotion on when I feel dry.
My daily facial routines includes: I start with energizing and awakening my face and pores in the AM after I wake. Use a good sudsy facial cleanser with scrubbing beads or a nice vibrating or rotating scrubber. This will help really help wake and revitalize your skin before your day begins. PAt dry and use a good facial toner with benefits depending on your skin concerns whether that is dry, oily, or combination skin. Use a cotton ball or pad and pat with toner. Air dry than use a facial moisturizer if needed! Lastly, use a facial primer and put that makeup on girl!
I use cetaphil in the shower, but otherwise I just rinse and run! I’ve recently started using Savannah Bee Body Wash and Shampoo – they smell amazing and work great! I’d love to try their facial products.

I like to apply a moisture mask and/or serum at night (on a clean face), because I have very dry skin. As soon as I shower and exfoliate, I moisturize and apply makeup.
I wash with goat milk soap and then apply rosehip seed oil as a moisturizer.
I wash with a natural cleanser and use lotion or sun screen. At night I use anti-aging creams or gels.

My facial routine is simple makeup wipes.
I wash with a face cleanser then apply moisturizer.
Cleansing at least twice a day is an absolute must- followed by moisturising either with a non-comedogenic cream or oil like jojoba or argan. A weekly exfoliation with an AHA/BHA containing product is also an integral part of my skincare regimen.
Cleanser, toner and day cream in the morning followed by cleanser, toner and argan oil at night. I also gently exfoliate once a week.
I steam my face with towel often! and wash my face two time a day, once in the morning and once at night! I use coconut oil scrub for a good clean about three times or so a week! ^.^

I put on sunblock or a SPF CC cream daily. I also use a mild cleansing lotion at night.
My daily facial routine is in the morning I wash my face with water, then apply a moisturizer with sunscreen and put on my makeup. Evenings I wash my face with a foamy cleanser and finish with a thick facial lotion.
