Pet Gift Box – Cat – Subscription Box – September Review

September Pet Gift Box with PostcardI usually do not associate cats and bad hair days, I mean for the most part their care regiment is short, simple and easy. I have noted this behavior and while it does involved a substantially wet tongue it does not require much else. Most days I am witness to this simple yet highly effective method of grooming, and I have to say that cats have it far easier than humans.

When humans undertake this ritual of everyday life, it can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours depending on the complexity of style. There is where our feline companions also fare better – they do not have a style to keep up or maintain.

Given the considerable amount of money and time that is spent on this task it seems “hair raisingly” appropriate that this months Pet Gift Box theme is “Hair Club for Cats”. The treats included in this months box had a hair and grooming theme including the following:

Petstages ToyPetstages Big Hair Kitty – $5.99 : This is one of the cutest things I have seen and I may not give this to the cats. This little guy makes me smile and I love that it is filled with catnip! Murfee is a catnip addict and I am sure if I share this or not, Murfee will find it and claim it for himself.

Get Naked Fur Ball TreatsGet Naked FurBall Relief – $3.99 :These treats are designed to assist in your cats digestive health. Chocked full of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids, these will help your cats digestive track. These treats are made from real chicken and contain no wheat, no corn, no soy and no petroleum making it much more natural chicken treats. This was a 2.5 oz package that will last for a while. I plan to give them only about 5-6 at a time to ration them from kitties who like treats who live here

Multipet FleaMultipet Flea – $ 5.99: This is another totally cute toy that may or may not make it into the Muggles toy box. I like that this is small enough for them to carry around in their mouths, as our cats love to carry around their “kill” around the house. Plus it has the distinction of being really cute.

Hair Removal MittGrooming Solutions Hair Removal Mitt – $ 9.99: Each day that Jason goes to work, one of the cats goes with him. No he does not take Maggee and Murfee physically to work, but with the amount of fur on him most days it would be easier to just to take the cat. This works on either clothes, furniture and anything that fur needs to be cleaned off.

Snap and Clean BrushSpot Snap-N-Clean Brush – $ 8.39: Our cats love to be brushed and it is something that we worked on when they were kittens and pays off now that they are adult cats. This brush makes it easy to brush either cat that needs it – which during the summer is both of them. The blue snaps off and pushes the fur in the brush along with it, making cleaning super easy.

I am never disappointed with this box and have told many of my family and friends about it. The items are always carefully  chosen and put together in a way that makes sense. The items are always a quality in which I would purchase them and my cats also seem to love this box. This box was pulled together this month wonderfully and usefully! Each month this is one of the only boxes the Muggles get excited about, which has led me to think they know it is for them although it does not help that each month it is addressed to both Maggee and Murfee.

Bad Hair Day SquareThe total value of this box came to $33.95 vs the $28.99 monthly cost which equals a gain of $6.96! I appreciate that each month I feel like get a good deal, and a treasure or two for the kittens.

Each month you can choose if you want a cat or dog themed box and monthly subscriptions are $28.99/month – pay as you go, $23.99/month – 3 month membership, $20.99/month – 6 month membership, $18.99/month – 12 months membership and shipping is included in the cost each month.
