Paper Pumpkin: November 2016 Kit Review

Paper Pumpkin – Wonderful Winterland – November 2016 Kit Review + Giveaway

paper-pumpkin-november-2016When I was young the idea of mail was beyond my imagination. There was something magical that with something as simple as an address, people can get trinkets and letters from loved ones. This was in the day before I knew about bills and thought the world was full of rainbows.

Now that I am adult, I accept that most of the mail I receive is bills, except for this time of year. This is the season of family updates, family photos and letters – I love this time of year!

When I received the November 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit “Wonderful Winterland”, the decision was made that these would be in the lineup for our 2016 Holiday cards.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Paper Pumpkin/Stampin’ Up, but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

This month is a kit that makes 8 cards and is titled “Wonderful Winterland“.

contents-november-2016Each month I look forward to the 10 by 6.5 red box, to see what new project I will be embarking on. Each month the kit comes complete with the items you need to create the cards for the month. Included in this months box was the following:

  • Wonderful Winterland Photopolymer Stamp Set
  •  Dapper Denim Classic Stampin’ Spot Ink
  • Pear Pizzazz Classic Stampin’ Spot Ink
  • 8 White Card Bases
  • 8 Printed Blue Envelopes
  • 12 Laser Cut Sheets
  • 8 Vellum Sheets
  • 4 yards White and Silver Bakers Twine
  • 30 White Sequins
  • 75 Mini Dimensionals
  • 125 Adhesive Dots

Included with each box are written instructions with full-color photos but also there is an instructional video available (Online Instructions) to help you complete the project each month.

stamp-set-november-2016This months stamp included stamps that are in the greetings and image genre. The set includes 4 sentiment stamps and 2 tree stamps, 2 homes and 1 snowflake image. Together these 9 clear photopolymer stamps stick well on a clear block. Included was a mini stamp pad in Dapper Denim which is similar to a Navy Blue and Pear Pizzazz, which is a lighter green color.

The concept behind this months kit is that when completed you have 8 cards would make ideal and perfect holiday cards.

stamping-the-treesThe instructions in this kit were easy to understand and follow. Also photos included were clear and even if omitted I would have been able to complete the kit.
