Paper Pumpkin: Bunny Buddies – March 2017 Kit Review

Paper Pumpkin – Bunny Buddies – March 2017 Kit Review + Giveaway

One of my favorite things about Spring is not only are the flowers in bloom with crispy air flowing through our lungs, it is the season of bunnies.

About 5 years, I lived on over 2 acres of land in the more rural area of town. One of my favorite things was when Springtime rolled around, and we would see hopping and fluff in our flower beds. I think bunnies are not only adorable, but they are also a wonderful mascot for this time of year.

Since the bunny is the unofficial official mascot, there is not better way to give Spring treats than in the March 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit “Bunny Buddies”.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Paper Pumpkin/Stampin’ Up, but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

This month is a kit that makes 9 embellished with bunny bags and 9 matching cards and is titled “Bunny Buddies“.

Each month I look forward to the 10 by 6.5 red box, to see what new project I will be embarking on. Each month the kit comes complete with the items you need to create the project for the month. Included in this months box was the following:

  •  Bunny Buddies Photopolymer Stamp Set
  • Basic Grey Classic Stampin’ Spot
  • 9 Card Bases – 3 each of 3 designs
  • 9 Vanilla Envelopes
  • 9 Fabric Bunny Treat Bags
  • 1 sticker sheet Small Ear Stickers
  • 2 sheets die-cut Banners
  • 9 Mini Clothespins
  • 15 Mini PomPoms – 5 each of 3 colors
  • 12 yards Bakers Twine  – 4 yards each of 3 colors
  • 24 Adhesive Dots

Included with each box are written instructions with full-color photos but also there is an instructional video available (Online Instructions) to help you complete the project each month.

This months stamp set is a mix of spring and friendship sentiments, decorated eggs,  as well the different elements to create a bunny ears and bunny face. Also included was one Stampin’ Spot Ink called Basic Grey, which was a lighter dark shade that reminded me of a light black.

The instructions in this kit were easy to understand and simple. Also photos included were clear and even if omitted I would have been able to complete the kit. This month was a simple kit and would make a great gift for kids that might want to make their own bunny treats with taking a little help from an adult.

As I said above this kit would be perfect for younger crafter’s due to the few steps and the simplicity of the steps.

The Bunny Buddies creates 9 bags with 9 matching cards that allows you to personalize the expression of the bunny you stamp.

When all is said and done the end result is 3 sets of 3 bunnies and cards make a cute and personalized way to give Spring themed treats.

When I see all of the perennial flowers popping through the soil, I know spring is on the way.

I first think of the beautiful fresh flowers of Spring – iris, daffodils, tulips, azaleas, etc.
