Ozeri – Elite Chef Ceramic 3 piece Knife Set and Adjustable Ceramic Knife Stand Review
I had always heard while growing up that life is funny and there will be unexplained coincidences. Let me share a story that I think illustrates this fact – It all started about 3 months ago. As I am gathering cooking knowledge, one of the things that is vital is being able to make consistent cuts to the food you are cooking. Now it is important to note that we watch a lot of Food Network and the competition shows they air. We always watch a chef’s cutting ability because that usually tells us what kind of chef they are. If someone were watching me they would wonder if I could even boil water.
When we were out one Saturday we picked up a set of white ceramic knives. At the time I wondered about their quality but was assured that ceramic rarely breaks or chips. One night while I was doing my prep work, I saw why my knives were cutting less than ideally – they had various chips of various sizes. I mentioned this to Jason and he said we would go and replace them the upcoming weekend. Now, this is where the coincidences of life take over – I got the opportunity to review a set of ceramic knives.
The set I received was by Ozeri and it is the Ozeri Elite Chef Ceramic Knives. The set included 3 knives in the following sizes: a 6′ Chef’s Knife, a 5′ Slicing Knife, and a 3′ Paring Knife. As most of you know, a chef’s knife is an all-purpose knife used for anything from mincing onions to chopping meat. The Slicing Knife is good for meats and seafood and the Paring Knife is just like the chef’s knife just a smaller more precise version. The knives will never discolor and will not change the taste of my food. These knives are comfortable and slice through everything we have used them for and they have become Jason’s favorite knife set EVER!!
The second item I received was the Ozeri 3-piece Adjustable Ceramic Knife Stand that coordinates well with the Ozeri Ceramic Knife set. This stand has spaces for a 3 inch, 6 inch and 9 inch knife and is adjustable to an angled position for storage or display. The bottom features slip resistant feet and sits very well on my counter. I placed in next to my current block knife set and I have found it coordinates very well.
The combination of these items not only coordinate well but also are a high quality nice looking products. I am happy that the coincidences of life intersected and coincided with this review. This is not only Jason’s favorite knife set, but mine as well.

For as nice as they are, they cut even better.
They are the only knives my husband uses now!
If you are thinking of purchasing them I would encourage you to, and if you can get the stand too, it looks really nice on a counter!
