The extract that I use most often for baking is vanilla, but countless times I have wished that I had peppermint extract since it is a flavor that I really enjoy and there is no suitable substitute for it. I would love to win this!

My favorite extract to use when baking is a bit of almond in my cherry pie filling – just a little bit gives it a great flavor.

My favorite extract to use for baking is mint extract. I am a major mint person and everything is mint. However I think I use the fake stuff more often.

Since this family really likes the taste of peppermint, that is the one that is most often used in baked goods in this household.

Well obviously I use the undisputed king of baking extracts – Vanilla – all of the time. I am also partial to adding a touch of Almond to many mixture to give it a woody complex note.
