My Paper Pumpkin July Kit Review and Giveaway
There is something really special about receiving a piece of mail. To know that the sender not only took the time to write something special, but make the card as well makes the mail close to priceless. Whenever I think of friendship I think of two friends sitting over a cup of coffee or a hot latte catching up on each others lives. This month’s My Paper Pumpkin by Stampin’ Up kit celebrates this idea in the form of a card kit.
I had the chance to review My Paper Pumpkin’s kit box’s previous months box (click here). I was thrilled to be given the chance to review this months box as well. The theme for July was named “Thanks A Latte”.
The basic idea of this months kit is that you can create different cards for happy times, support or just to say hello. I love the idea of a card in which your simply put together the elements and the result is a cute card.
The 10 by 6.5 size box that it comes in is packed with the items you need to complete the project for the month. Included in this months box were the following:
- Thanks A Latte Photopolymer Stamp Set
- Early Espresso Classic Stampin Spots Ink
- Cucumber Crush Classic Stampin Spots Ink
- 8 White cards
- 8 Printed Envelopes
- 8 Patterned Papers
- 3 Sheets of Die Cut Accents
- 1 Sheet of stickers
- 8 paper clips with orange bows
- 1 Sheet of dimensional double-sided stickers
- 2 Adhesive Strips
Included with each box is not only written instructions with photos but there is an instructional video also available (online) to help you complete the project of the month.
This months stamp choice can be used for a birthday, baby, a celebration, housewarming or even a get well soon. The ability and versatility with the 10 stamps included makes this kit usable for all the above occasions and more. The stamps include an outline of a coffee cup as well as greetings that would cheer a person up upon the opening of the envelope.
Included was a stamp pad in Early Espresso – a brown color that reminded me of a nice latte and Cucumber Crush – which was a nice clean green. In combination with the paper and the stamps, which coordinated really well. The cards included are white cards with a grey pattern, on the top the paper gives a torn appearance in which is the able to be stamped on. The coffee/latte theme of this month is adaptable and perfectly color coordinated.
My Paper Pumpkin by Stampin’ Up boxes are available for $19.95/month, $59.85/3 months, $113.70/6 months and $215.40/12 months and the shipping is included in the cost. The 6-month is a total savings of about $6, about a $1 a month savings and the 12-month is total savings of about $24, so about a $2 a month savings thus ends up totaling the amount of receiving one kit free.
