Kiss Naturals: Lip Balm Making Kit Review + Giveaway

Living near the beach, my lips get dry and cracked easy. I have been pondering the idea of making my own lip balms, but honestly did not know where to start and what ingredients I would need. When I saw the Kiss Naturals Lip Balm Making Kit I saw a all-in-one way that I could finally make my own flavored lip balms.
The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Kiss Naturals. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.
I received a Kiss Naturals – Lip Balms Making Kit for my DIY making fun.

This is a simple kit, with all the items that are needed to make 6 Lip Balms including 3 jars and 3 twist up tubes. The kits comes with (3) 5 ml Lip Balm Tubes, (3) 3 ml Lip Balm Jars, 15 ml Safflower Oil, 2.5g Beeswax, 14g Shea Butter, 1 measuring cup, 1 spoon, 2 flavors 2 ml each in bubblegum and boysenberry and one manual.

The instructions are simple, easy to follow and start with pouring and adding the ingredients to the measuring cup which is marked every 5 ml on the side.

Once the ingredients are added it gets placed in the microwave and melted together.
After everything is mixed, then the only decision left is if you want to put your custom balm in a twist tube or a plastic jars. The lip balms are then carefully placed in the fridge for hardening and within 30 minutes you have lip balm!
The lip balm I created was soft and did not leave a oily residue on my lips and felt like my lips got some much needed hydration. While I loved this kit, it was very simple, which would be perfect for younger kids with adult supervision. I would also recommend looking see the other flavors available (a simple internet search can answer that) as the included flavors might be a bit on the sweet side for some people. If you want a simple kit to make your own lip balms get a Kiss Naturals – Lip Balms Making Kit.

I have not made my own beauty items or makeup before.
I’ve only made my own bath bombs, but never regular beauty products
The closest thing to making my own beauty products was trying some homemade facial masks and hair mask treatments. I also once made a recipe for homemade nose strips that I saw on Youtube but more often I just buy my products.
I make my own soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body oil. I have Lupus and diabetes and found I needed to do this as I have some skin issues. My husband was also suffering hair loss and has regained his hair now and is very happy. It’s very easy to make your own cosmetics and they last longer than buying them.
