Good Mouth Subscription Review

Good Mouth Subscription With letterAs regular readers will know I review a good amount of subscription boxes, and I love each one generally speaking. It is always fun to see what is included and this includes the recent box I received. The box was from Good Mouth and what a great idea it is.

The basic idea is that bi-monthly they send new brushes, as well as floss, lip balm and peppermints. This subscription based service is was founded to make it easy to get fresh brushes. Also, Good Mouth donates brushes to those in need!

In the box that I received contained 2 toothbrushes – The Toucan and The Jaguar, a roll of floss, lip balm, a tin of peppermints and a nice welcome letter. The Toucan is the least expensive of the brushes and comes in many different color combinations such as red with blue bristles, blue with yellow bristles (can you guess which one of us will be using this one?) and white  with orange bristles to name a few. The Jaguar has the largest head size and is made for bigger mouths (can you guess who is getting to use this one?). The floss has 50 meters included, with a silky smooth floss. The third thing I received was Dr. Goode’s Peppermint Buzz Beeswax Lip Balm, which had a nice peppermint scent and did not leave any residue. The final thing I received a nice tin of Dr. Goode’s Original Peppermints that tasted very peppermint.

Good Mouth CLose upGood Mouth carries toothbrushes for adults, teens, kids, braced individuals, sensitivity and those with periodontal issues. Good Mouth also carries electric toothbrush heads of SonicCare and Oral-B. It is also possible to add toothpaste to your box and they have many varieties including Toms of Maine, Sensodyne, Marvis, Jason and Jack N Jill. The lip balms they have are available in peppermint, eucalyptus and tea tree. The floss comes in 50m dispensers and have waxy and silky, as well as Plackers mint flossers in adults and kids. They also include peppermints and Xylitol gums.

All of Good Mouth’s products are BPA Free and are not tested on animals. The lip balm does not contain petroleum, is all natural and organic when possible. An example of this is the Eucalyptus Lip Balm contains all organic products with exception of Vitamin E and Sunblock. The Tea Tree is made with 20% fair trade and organic ingredients.

The process is simple and easy. Good Mouth gives suggestions about toothbrushes or you can chose which you prefer. Once you select any other options, such as toothpaste and floss, you total is then determined. The kit I received was right around $12.00 and once i added the $1.50 flat shipping charge my total came in an affordable $14.00 every 2 months.

Overall I am happy with the box and contents. I love the idea of getting a new toothbrush in every other month, keeping my teeth healthy.

Also here is fun fact courtesy of Good Mouth: Toothbrushes are the #1 invention that most Americans say they can not live without. This is after beating out the personal computer, the automobile and cellular phones!
