Boulder Canyon: Mesquite BBQ Chips Review + Giveaway

As I have mentioned many times in the past, we are a snack house. Since I am home based, I am always looking for a healthy version of the foods that I enjoy.

When I saw a press release that Boulder Canyon had released a new variety of chip flavor we were curious to say the lease.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Boulder Canyon Authentic Foods. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

I received the following flavors for review –

The first flavor I sampled was the also the most recent addition to the Boulder Canyon Snack lineup – Boulder Canyon Mesquite BBQ Chips. These are so tasty and full of flavor and I kept eating them, and before I knew it, half the bag gone.

The second flavor I tried was the Teriyaki Ginger cooked in Rice Bran Oil. I wish this would have had more cheddar flavoring. It was rather bland, so it was like I was eating plain popcorn.

The final flavor I tried was the Teriyaki Ginger cooked in Rice Bran Oil. I had no idea what to expect when I bit into these and I was pleasantly surprised that the ginger was not overbearing, but a subtle addition.

Each of these chips are Non-GMO, contain no trans fats or no cholesterol. There is no MSG while being gluten-free and vegan – they are made with natural ingredients. Since these are made of natural ingredients you can eat these and feel good about eating a natural snack.

With the addition to the Mesquite, I am pleased to add another snack to the ever-expanding snack rotation in our pantry.

I would love to have a chip that is a non-sweet smokey bbq with old cheddar flavor.

My flavor would be a either a Ranch or BBQ but have it in a LOW SALT version. Sometimes the lower salt version does not taste as good but people that need to live with lower salt will compromise with some flavor for not eating them at all.
