Big Slice: Kettle Cooked Apples Review + Giveaway

One of my favorite fruit based snacks is apples, and kettle cooked apples are my absolute favorite. There is a go-to dessert in our house that involves apples being cooked down, and from that mini pies are made. These are simple and the crust is always a win!

When I saw a company called Big Slice Apples, that take kettle cooked apples and combines them with superfruit, I was immediately interested since I love my homemade pies.

I received a assortment of Big Slice Apples varieties to sample.

The flavors I received were Banana Mango & Hemp Seed, Pineapple Passion Fruit & Fiber, Honey Berry, Cherry Vanilla and Cinnamon French Toast.

My favorite flavor was the Cinnamon French Toast which reminded me of a simple apple kettle cooked with cinnamon. The other flavors were also very good, and after trying them I do not think that you can go wrong with any of the flavors.

I had originally seen Big Slice at the Natural Products Expo this past March. What got my attention was the idea of taking something as simple as apples and combining them with interesting flavors. These are slowly cooked slices of GMO-free, USA grown apples cooked until they are chunks of apples.

The best part of Big Slice is the packaging, this makes eating this on the go much easier since the package can be used as a bowl.

Many times I love the idea of apples, but I always want more flavor and with Big Slice Apples that is exactly what I get! If you want your apples turned up a notch – try Big Slice Apples.
