Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – April 2016 Review

Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – April 2016 Review

April Showers Peaches and Petals April 2016 Box Contents Living in San Diego the concept of rain can be foreign to many residents. The biggest problem is that because wet road conditions are infrequent, when they do occur they bring the slickness to the surface.

When I was 16 I got in an accident on one of those rare rainy nights. Admittedly I was driving to fast for road conditions and the car did many flips and slammed into a brick wall. While my car did not survive, I did and I learned to respect the rain and road.

I never let the accident scare me from driving in the rain, and in fact now I love and look forward to the rain. I love the sound on my roof, and the rush as it sweeps down my gutters and onto the street. I love to watch it roll down the hill, like a stream missing fish. This love of the rain is not expressed often, despite weather forecasts saying otherwise.

Since it is April and I am missing my showers, I was very happy when I saw that the April Peaches and Petals box. The boxes contents all revolve around the “April Showers” theme and are appropriate, and useful while remaining in theme. Each month that I receive Peaches and Petals I am more impressed with the items included in the boxes.

Peaches and Petals is a monthly box that caters to ‘fun, flirty, fashionable vintage and modern lifestyles’. As a subscriber each month you will receive 3-5 items that have been hand selected personally by the Peaches and Petals team. The included items range from books, household items, gift items and are usually within a monthly box theme. There can be other items included, depending on the box and theme for the month.

I have been lucky to be able to review this for the past couple months (see previous box reviews here) and I can honestly say that the further it goes the better the boxes get. Each month they strive to make sure the items are useful, stylish and high quality while maintaining the thematic feeling.

The box was full of water/shower themed items, and included the following within the “April Showers” theme including:

5 in 1 Multifunction MassagerFacial Cleansing Brush – This 5 in 1 multi-function beauty care massager has 5 different head attachments. Using only 2 AA batteries this has 5 different head attachments including one to cleanse, ones to gently massage, exfoliate and one to remove oil and makeup. There are 2 speeds on this hand-held device. This was lightweight and easy to use – I even had Jason try it out on his calluses and it worked great. buy propecia online https://rxnoprescriptionrxbuyonline.com/propecia.html no prescription

Sunny Day PuzzlesRainy Day/Sunny Day Puzzle Book  – I am a puzzle fan so this was such a nice surprise! The puzzles in this book include word searches, Sudoku, letter fit, and so many more word puzzles that will keep you entertained in rain or shine. This compact book has over 150 puzzles to keep you entertained rain or shine.

Umbrella NecklaceUmbrella Necklace – Given my love of rain, I LOVED this umbrella necklace. This has a simple clasp and the simple small design will remind you of rainy days past even in the sunniest of days.

Rain Cloud Wall PlanterRain Cloud Wall Planter – This has to be one of the cutest items I have seen included in a box. The idea is you can plant a small plant and add water, which comes out looking like rain. There is a hole on the back, which makes this easy to hang and the planter comes off the mount to make initial planting and re-potting a little easier.

Pink Grapefruit Body Wash in SpongeShower Gel in a Sponge – Let me start by telling you that this was the first thing that I smelled when I opened the box. The scent was strong and despite being pink grapefruit, it had a more floral scent. This is supposed to be good for 8 or more showers, but I am guessing that depends on how much water you let the sponge be exposed to. I will update after I have put this into rotation. buy prevacid online https://rxnoprescriptionrxbuyonline.com/prevacid.html no prescription

Jennifer Brushing her hairRainy Day Surprise Item : Detangling Hair Brush –  I am currently growing out my hair after accidentally chopping off 8 inches. I am always looking for a brush that will not yank my hair out so seeing a brush made me excited. The first thing I noticed was the texture of the brush, it was smooth and it slid through my hair with ease. The result was hair the looked brushed and was still in the roots – a win in my eyes. buy proair online https://rxnoprescriptionrxbuyonline.com/proair.html no prescription
