Avery Easy Align Self-Laminating ID Labels Review and Giveaway

I am an organizer at heart. I love the thought that everything has its place and when I acquire more of something, it also has a home. Many times I put things in boxes, but then I forget to label what is in the box, and then I end up with 3 boxes of the same type items. This frustrates me to no end, and I have yet to find a solution that I am happy with. I have tried paper labels, and I find that over time they not only peel off but they start to look dirty. I have long wished that I could wipe the surface of the label and keep it adhered to the surface.

I am excited to say I might have found a solution to this organizing plight – the Avery Easy Align Self-Laminating ID Labels.

Avery Easy Align Self-Laminating ID Labels are laminated labels that do not require a laminating machine. Using the patent pending Easy Align technology makes these so simple to use. As with most Avery products they are printer comparable as well as being handwriting friendly.

Since I am an organizer at heart, I decided to give these a test run on some items on different surfaces that needed labeling. The first thing I tested as if the labels were as easy to laminate as they were making it look – it was easier! I wrote my label title, and then just has to expose the sticky on the right side and fold on the pre-scored line that goes down the middle of the page.

Once I folded the page over and adhered the label the clear top, I just made sure that any air bubbles were removed and that everything looked flush and flat.

What resulted was a laminated label that had an even border and that layed flat on the surface I placed it on. The above photo the label was adhered to a plastic loom kit. I also placed labels on plastic bins and on cardboard boxes – each one adhered perfectly and looked professionally labeled.

These particular labels come in 2 different quanties including #00753 which is 5 sheet pack of 50 labels and a 25 sheet pack of 250 labels. These labels are available in additional sizes that include 4 labels per sheet (3 5/16 x 2 5/16), 2 labels per sheet (3.5 x 4.5) and 1 label per sheet (7.5 x 5) and each can be used a range of items from rubber, wood, metal, plastic, paper, ceramic, glass and almost anything else you can label. The versatility also includes white with red, green and yellow border and are water-resistant and tear resistant (I tried them both and yes, they are water and tear resistant).

I plan to label my plastic food storage with these, as well as more boxes and some shelves. I have given each surface a test run, and each one looks clean and professional. These Avery labels are innovative with a lot of versatility. These can be used from anyone from industrial purposes to the home organizer.

There are easily my new favorite labels and I am going to be telling all my organizing loving friends about them – give them a try – I know you will love them as much as I do!!
