Bulu Box Weight Loss Subscription Review
When I was young I never gained weight. When I say never I really mean never. If I am being honest with you, I actively tried to gain weight and it never happened despite eating entire boxes of crackers before the 12 o’clock in the morning hour. Flash forward to my early 20’s and with adulthood came a drastic change in my metabolism.
This change in my metabolism was as fast and furious as my weight gain. I do not remember actively buying bigger pants or jumping from a size 2 to a size 12. I have been lucky in my weight journey in that I fluctuate between the same 15lbs – you can almost say that me and those pounds are close friends.
I recently became a Bulu Ambassador and received a box for review. I did not really have any expectations for this box, which was probably a really good thing. Most boxes have a postcard type manifest that lists all the items contained in the box and the box I received did not have a manifest card. I noticed that the box had many different samples and I was eager to jump in and discover something new.
Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts – These are raw shelled hemp hearts that are very delicious in salads. The Vegan salad topper is also contains No GMO’s and can be eaten on yogurt or just out of the bag.
SK Energy Shot – I received the Strawberry Lemonade drink, that was 2.5 fluid ounces of liquid energy. This was tasty although had a slight sour aftertaste, which I imagine is due to the lemonade included.
Shapeology Burn and Blend – This is a dietary supplement that comes in 2 liquid capsules. This is used to mimic the effects of high metabolism (hello 16 year old metabolism, long time no see) to help lose weight fast.
K*Pax Energy – This is a pharmaceutical quality energy booster. The sample package contained 2 tablets which makes an accurate review if it works or not difficult.
Bikini Ready Energy Gummies – I am a fan of gummies and vitamins, and when i can combine the 2 of them that is always a win. When I opened the package there was a sharp fruity smell. The gummies had what appeared to be a sugar coating, and were not very tasty. They had more of a sour taste with a strong after taste that stays in your mouth for 1/2 a minute or so. The best description is that the aftertaste resembles a faint soap taste.
Vital 4U Liquid Energy – This came in a 1/2 fluid ounce package and is coffee flavored. The bonus to this product is that it comes ready to drink in a easy to open and drink out of package. It is recommended for everyone from athletes, musicians, shift workers, joggers as well as students studying
Sun Chlorella Powdered Drink – This is a powdered drink that you can pour into a water bottle and shake. It dissolved quickly and was not ill tasting at all.
NibMor’s Daily Dose of Dark – This is an organic, vegan, ethically traded, gluten-free dark chocolate that contains No-GMO’s. This little chocolate contains 72% nibs and mint. At first bite it reminded me of a thin mint, but the further into chewing and melting it lost it’s sweetness and became a bitter chocolate square.
Many of these Supplements and Vitamins came in a sample package that generally contains between 2 and 4 capsules which is really not enough to get a fair sampling if the product works or not. I wish they would include a 7 – 10 day sample for proper testing.
This box is a great way to try and sample some of the many weight loss products that are on the market. For the cost per month being able to sample before buying can save much more in the long run in products that you will not use.
