Yes I put all my Christmas stuff away on the 1st and do a purge and a major cleaning!!
I do this a few times a year! 🙂
The purge began before the new year started but will continue throughout the year. Lots of stuff to go through and organize/ditch so it is a continual process.
I just started getting rid of the old. Too big of a mess with 5 kids, time for things to go
No, I do not clean at New Years but I do clean all year long so I am constantly dealing with things.

I do a big house clean once a month, I hate clutter.
I usually try to go through my clothes & drawers & closets at the beginning of the year.
i do clean all areas of my house all throughout the year and keep my house clutter free.
I am strange and I do my major cleaning before the holidays. What most people do at the new year or spring, I do in October or November lol
I usually do spring cleaning and donate old clothes and toys to the Goodwill.

Not specifically at New Year’s–it is more of an on-going attempt to stay ahead of the accumulation throughout the year.
I don’t do a total cleaning, but I like to clean out the fridge around the New Year. It’s cold enough that I can put things outside or in the garage while I wash the shelves. Then I can check for expired things to throw out.
I have been actively doing it now.
I’m in the process of going through all my clothes and getting rid of anything I don’t like, doesn’t fit or I haven’t worn in a year. I bought some new clothes during the black Friday sales and end of year sales so I have to make room.
