Marlo’s Bakeshop: Gluten-Free Banana Bread Soft-Baked Biscotti Review + Giveaway

Confession time – I love bread. While I love all kinds of bread, banana bread has always been the top of the list as my favorite. The day I learned I could make my own banana bread was a revelation, and no doubt changed my life. One of my favorite times to have a slice of banana bread is with a cup of tea, so when I learned that there was a biscotti version from Marlo’s Bakeshop of my beloved bread, I had to try it.

I received a box of the Gluten-Free Banana Bread Soft-Baked Biscotti from Marlo’s Bakeshop for my morning snacking sampling.

I will be honest and tell you that I had never heard of a soft biscotti before, and I had never really tried many flavors of biscotti so I was very interested to try this different version of a snack I knew.

The first thing that I noticed was that while the biscotti of “soft-baked”, it is still a biscotti. It is a nice middle point between hard and soft. The smell was identical to banana bread, and the typical nuts in bread were visible in each bite.

Each of Marlo’s Bakeshop Biscotti’s are individually wrapped which makes them easy to take on the go.

While this is gluten-free it does not have the typical after taste that gluten-free items can have. The ingredients are simple and are a blend of real bananas, pure maple and toasted California walnuts with the top lightly dusted with cinnamon and sugar.
