Good Earth Tea Hathikuli Organic Tea is one of the most exclusive teas on the planet. Hailing from the Hathikuli Estate which is the largest integrated organic farm located in Assam, India. The name Hathikuli, comes from the the named ‘hati’, after the Assamese word for elephant, and ‘kuli’ the word for frequent, means ‘a place frequented by elephants.’

This unique tea is prized for its remarkably distinctive flavor profile. The premium loose leaf black tea feature sweet, malty notes of dates and honey with a nutty undercurrent.
This is an inspiring tea that is packaged in an reusable reusable metal tin that pays homage to the local elephants.
One of the first things that I look at is the leaves before brewing, and immediately I noticed the black leaves with lighter leaves throughout.
I brewed my cup of tea for about 5 minutes, and as it brewed the water became a light brown color that darkened as it brewed and seeped longer.
While I normally am not a fan of dates, this did not remind me of dates off the bat. As I drank the tea it reminded me of a sweet honey black tea. The smell was nutty, and the taste was more on the sweet side.
As I drank my tea and educated myself about elephants, I was happy that there was one day dedicated to the elephants. Grab a cup of Good Earth Tea Hathikuli Organic Tea and let me know what you think!
