Stampin’ Up: Day at the Beach Wood-Mount Stamp Set Review + Giveaway
When Stampin’s Up released their new Celebrations Catalog and I saw a beach inspired stamp set I was filled with happiness.
The reason that I was filled with such happiness is that I live close to the Pacific Ocean and I try to share the ocean with the people I care about that do not live here.
Short of packaging and shipping beach sand, there is a couple alternate ways I share the loce of the coast starting with teh cards. I have a vast collection of beach and ocean inspired stickers, but have loved the look and personalization of stamps. This new Day at the Beach Wood-Mounted Stamp Set had every stamp needed to create a beach day on a card.

I received the beach themed Day at the Beach Wood-Mounted Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up for review. This 11 stamp collection is available as a wood-mount collection as well as a clear-mount stamp set.
When you get the wood-mount collection, the set comes with 11 wood blocks of varying sizes, as well as a rubber sheet with the shapes pre-cut and adhesive on one side. The adhesive on one side attaches to the wood block, and also included is a sticker to put on the top of the stamp for identification.
I would recommend that you pop out the rubber shapes and match them to the wood blocks before you adhere them, to ensure you match the sizes properly. Once you feel confident that you have the right block to the right stamp, peel the adhesive back and adhere the rubber and place your top sticker in place.
The images range from sunglasses, to umbrella’s, hats, pails, whales, a sun just to name a few.
I absolutely loved this set, and it immediatly reminded me of the ocean breeze that I can smell when the wind is right. This collection would be a welcome addition to any stamp collection and would provide a beach day without the sand for every beach bum at heart.
