Holiday Writing Helper: Crayola Metallic and Doodle Scent Pen’s Giveaway

giveaway-of-doodle-scent-and-metallic-pensSince I was a kid I have loved scented pens, and metallic pens. As we head into the holiday season it is fun to write envelopes, gift tags and cards with markers.

Since we are gearing for the holiday season we thought it would be fun to give away a couple of pen sets to help you write your way through the next couple months.

Doodle Scent Scented MarkersWhen I was young I had a set of pens that had scent with them. Crayola happens to have their own version of these called the Crayola Doodle Scents Markers. These scented pens come in a 18 pack and each color has their own smell. I would advise not sniffing these for long period of times, but a quick smell should not cause any headaches. Some of the colors/scents available are Evergreen Tree, Breath of Fresh Air, Key Lime Fizz and Watermelon Patch to name a couple. The tip on these allow for coloring or addressing letters and envelopes, making them a fun pen to use for those holiday tags and greetings.

Metallic Marker Colors setWhen I think of sparkles I think of metallic. With the new Crayola Metallic Markers – 8 Pack you can add a metallic pop to your coloring or lettering. This is a nice metallic collection that coordinate well with Doodle Scents pens. These new pens come in 8 colors including Purple Steel, Copper Mine, Green Machine, Slick Silver, Gold Ingot, Pink Bling, Black Iron and Cobalt Blue. I loved all of these but my favorite color is the Cobalt Blue!

      I also cut out pieces of rectangular paper and let the kids draw on them with Christmas colors and put to and from on them….we use those for name tags for gifts instead of buying them.

    Yes, I always send cards for any special occasion & holidays. I feel that with social media we have lost a lot of personal touches. So I try to always send cards. My friends & family always tell me how much they love getting mail that’s not bills. 🙂
