Many people are under the belief that I live in paradise, or at least what could be considered paradise – San Diego, California.

I feel differently, I think that the real paradise is in a world with cats and all they can teach us. Cats teach us the art of relaxation and not caring about the world outside their worlds. Cats teach us that kindness is rewarded and anger is met with swats and growls. Cats are able to brush off grudges, and live in peace with most other cats. Cats do not care about fur colors, or if a cat came from a shelter or not, they care about the here and now.

When you take in the cat perspective it is easy to see their idea of paradise is a little more basic than ours. When I discovered that this months Cat Lady Box theme celebrates your own idea of paradise or as the cats call it “Another Day in Purradise”. Each month the mailman knows your cat lady status, since the box comes branded with the Cat Lady Box logo. When the box is opened you are greeted with a black tissue with a sticker enclosing everything in the box from hand and paws alike. The box is packaged well, and there is space enough that items do not get smooshed and smashed together.

The “Another Day in Purradise” theme contained the following:

Another Day in Purradise Tank – CatLadyBox Exclusive: I love any wardrobe additions that add to my love of cats and this tank is perfect for the warm days that we have been having. This is a dark heather grey color and is a great entry into this first ever tank top inclusion on a box. This was printed in the USA (Florida) and is to comfortable, it will become a favorite quickly.

Silver Cat Clip Bookmark Set – Limited Edition for Cat Lady: I am always loosing my place in books and notebooks, and as a blogger have many notes so I love these cat themed paperclips. These are just a cute addition to my cat theme collection. Since these are thinner, I would recommend keeping the sheet amount to a couple so you don’t stretch these.

Shady Cat Beach Towel – CatLadyBox Exclusive: When I opened this Jason was shocked to learn that this was my first cat themed towel. This towel is about 5 feet long which is a nice beach size, and a this bright towel will surely make any cat fan happy. You will look as cool as the cat on the towel!

Tropical Lip Balm – CatLadyBox Exclusive Swag: This was an bonus surprise gift and so appropriate for a gal who is so close to the ocean such as I am. I always welcome lip balm and this tropical flavor is a new favorite. Plus it announces I a cat lady, which I am always proud of.

*CAT TOYS* Palm Tree Catnip Toy by Loopies and Catnip Beach Ball by Imperial Cat: Since Maggee seems to think any box that comes in her house is hers, it is nice to have a box that actually includes gifts to her and her brother. Each of these toys are not only perfect for both Maggee and Murfee but very theme appropriate. I am sure that they will get many hours of play from these bright and soft toys.

Cat Lady Featured Artist – Robin Wethe Altman: This months Cat Lady Artist Robin Wethe Altman uses vivid watercolors to make her images come alive. I wish this was more cat, and less image, but it is beautiful image none the less. Included in each months box is a postcard featuring a new cat print, and each month is different from the previous months.

As most of these items are made special for CatLadyBox it is hard, if not impossible, to locate them outside the monthly box subscription. If I was able to locate the items, then I have included the links for you to possibly purchase them without a box subscription.

As time passes, these boxes really do get better with time. Each month there are items that are exclusive to the box and it’s subscribers.
