ColoringNotebook Review
When you typically think of notebooks they are simple spiral bound lined pages that vary in thickness from 25 to 125 pages. These are also the same notebooks that are synonymous with note taking and studying. These are typically standard size and the cover is nothing more than a solid color.
Until recently I never considered combining coloring with a lined book, until I was approached to review the new ColoringNotebook. At first glance it is clear this is not the notebook that held all those chemistry notes so many years before.
The ColoringNotebook combines a lined paper and images to coloring into one notebook.
Each ColoringNotebook has 176 pages and measures a compact 5.83 x 8.27 inches, which means that it fits perfect in a purse or backpack. There is a satin ribbon that can be used a place holder and each page is made from a standard 100 weight paper and with a thread binding it lays flat when sitting. Also, each notebook comes in a choice of lined paper, dot grids or blank pages depending on artists need. There is an elastic closure strap that keeps this book closed for easy storage and privacy.
The notebook also features 50 images that range from simple to complex. I would recommend not to use pens or markers on the coloring since it will bleed through to the other side. I would use coloring pencils. Since the paper is acid-free the images will remain and can be out safely in scrapbooks.
There is a pocket in the back of the notebook that fits the typical industry standard size of A5, which will fit ticket stubs. photos and even some menus and other memorabilia. The rounded corners complete the whole esthetic of the book.
If you are looking for a combination journal/coloring book this is the book for you! This would make a perfect gift for creative people, to teenagers, and moms. This is a nice looking book, that does not look like it holds the world of possibilities that it does.
